Great hotel on the Veach in Ft. Lauderdale

The newly reopened B Hotel is right on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale- not across the street like most of the other hotels. Entire hotel is all recently redone. Highly recommend!

Good price at the end of the strip

Nice hotel. Pretty modern. Great infinity pool and private beach. Short walk to main strip. Hotel rooms have no drawers for clothing but a huge counter against wall, no towel racks, no toilet paper holder(it just sits on top of toilet) no space to put anything on bathroom sink. Blinds drape over AC so room gets warm unless you open blinds and then sun comes in room early so not good if you want to sleep in. Was not a bad stay at all just a very strange room design.

Staff was wonderful! Hotel exceeding my expectations. All of our needs were met. Clean room, great room service, and staff was exceptional. Definitely staying again at this amazing hotel.

The sand was at our door

I have been to this hotel 3 times already and their renovation was amazing, the rooms are beautiful, although I had a problem with my room, but it wasn't the hotels fault. They have a private section of the beach just for the hotel guests. Be prepared to spent some cash, parking is expensive, you get charge a resort fee, plus drinks and food also expensive.

OK, right on the beach, but unexpected fees!

Pros: Room was modern and clean
Cons: AC in room didnt work. Refrigerator didnt work. $35 a night self parking per car is ridiculous.
Location: Right on the beach. Many nice restaurants and stores near by.
Right on the beach, but you only get a very small section of the beach. A.C in room was one of the definite downers. Barely let out air. Self Parking for your car is $35 a night per car (which expedia never mentioned). Only 2 pools, one closes at 5pm and the other was closed for a private event. Pools are one of the main reasons I booked and I barely got to get in them! Otherwise, the room was clean, the bathroom was very nicely done, and the staff was friendly.

Awesomeness at its best

Spent my birthday here , living only minutes away! So worth it ❤️ Saw the sunrise, ate at the best restaurant on the grounds. Highly recommend this resort. Everything you need for a fabulous time is at your fingertips, weather it's Pool,bar,restaurant or just laying on the beach The waiters beachside were attendant and helpful had a great birthday weekend... thanks for making it so special

Not a family hotel more like motel

Let's start of by saying that when you walk in it's not that bad the lobby is clean and nice. But that was the last good moment at this hotel. The staff placed me in The clippers room which was so small and dark that my toddler didn't even want to remove his shoes because he didn't want to stay long. Then we decided to make The best of it and try the pool. We only had access to one pool as the main pool had a pool party that wasn't for anyone under 21 and was more like a rave. This was not told to us by the hotel leading up to our stay. As we went to the smaller pool we were created by no staff just trash cigarette buds all over the floors and dirty towels. There was no clean towel nor staff to assist. Again my toddler refuse to even step food in the pool as it was over crowded and look more like a public pool. We decided to call Expedia to try and cancel and move to a new hotel and the manager refused to allow me at first to cancel thou it was clear this was not a family hotel and more a party hotel. After several attempt by me and the Expedia staff my sister who was also trying to cancel her stay came to an agreement and we were forced to stay at least two nights. They were rude nasty and not helpful at all they still changed us resort fees thou they had agreed they wouldn't. When checking out the staff member was rude and didn't see the changes done and became argumentative and when I repeated several time finally decided to speak to the manager.we checked out

This is not a resort!! Save yourself the headache!

Pros: Nothing its gross, staff is rude rooms are dark and gross, bathrooms only have a sliding no privacy basically a party hotel beach is not private
Cons: everything should be improved this is not a family hotel and not a 4 star and not a resort
Location: Not in a good area
I want begin by saying I'm not a person who writes only bad reviews so lets begin. First this is not a resort, it at best a hotel (closer to a motel). I arrived on a Sunday to a lot of very drunk and drugged people and chaos all over with my family. Thinking that we should still give it a chance we valet an entered the lobby to more craziness and a very rude gentlemen, who informed us that there was a pool party for locals and that we would be unable to use the main pool, but as a compensation we could have access to the rave, as we had small children not sure how we would go to that, he also thought it be a good idea to place us in a room right next to the party smh. Room was dark gloomy an on the first floor with a window on the beach, normally this would be great except its a local beach and you can see into the room from outside, not very safe so we asked to be moved they did to a darker room with a view of the back parkinglot and all the fighting and arguing that came with all the drunk people from the party. We went to the 2nd pool and quickly realized that its not suitable for small children to deep, it was also extremely dirty, food all over water disgusting, no towels no staff smoking and basically the floor was an ashtray we left. We called expedia to leave, The management at the hotel really gave us a hard time to refund our money and I really had to argue with them they decided we needed to stay the 2 nites so we did and then we left This isn't a four star hotel

Last Stay at the " B "

Pros: The room and view was absolutely beautiful.....We really enjoyed the poolside view of the beach. The clipper is the tower to book....
Cons: When we booked we were not notified of a pool party booked by an outside vendor... We received free armbands but that was it.$ 7 for Budlight Really !
Location: It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to other restaurants.... The service on the beach is the best... Always greeted by the staff on the beach. Clean beach.
We tried to eat at the Naked Crab and walked in to the restaurant. There was no one at the hostess desk.. The rude waiter told us we had to see the hostess..No exceptions....We did not get a chance to even tell him we did not see a hostess.. The restaurant had 5 tables serving . It was very empty... We waited and waited.... A gentlemen came up and was seated and another couple came up was seated... We were told by the Host ( young guy ) that it would be 20 minutes.... Really in an empty restaurant? We asked for the manager and we were told by him we could be seated immediately.... 20 to 25 minutes later... Seriously? We took our business to Coconuts down the street and we were guest at the hotel.... This was just not acceptable....Maria at the front desk is exceptional and Ty the restaurant manager during the day is on point with service and expectations... Upper management should take notice of these employees.... One time before we tried to eat at Naked Crab and we were told 30 minutes... We went to Casablanca Cafe instead and walked pass the outside seating and at that time they were busy but had at minimum 7 tables empty.. Thanks to Crazy Crab because we enjoyed Casablanca Cafe and have been back. We are guest of the hotel and received no preference for seating for dinner at Crazy Crab.... This experience has changed our mind of our next stay in Ft Lauderdale.... There are too many other choices for food and accommodations..!
