“A Nice Different kind of a Surprise”Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: That it had possibilities to becoming a better hotel with time
Cons: It just goes to show you don't judge a book by its cover. We hope they keep making improvements, and we're sure that Danielle and Alba will.
Location: There are various Restaurants and shops around the pier area. The Pier is alright, it's alright, just that you have to pay $2.00 just to walk on it.
When looking for information about the Blue Strawberry, I guess I didn't look close enough, but we were pleasantly surprised. Upon our arrival we noticed that we had selected an "Older" Motel. It has the looks of a 50's - 60's Beach Hotel. We both looked at each other and wondered. I went into the office, which isn't a normal office, but rather a small room (a Foyer) attached to the house. On the desk is a button with a sign stating if you need help to push the button. Didn't have to as Danielle came out and we started the process of checking in. While doing so, I asked if it was possible to have a room on the first floor, since there were no Elevator, and my wife has a hard time with stairs. Our room was to be upstairs, but hearing our request, Danielle was able to make the change with no extra charge. That made us feel better about the Blue Strawberry, but we were still wondering what to expect. I asked about the parking and was informed that they have 24 rooms and 19 parking spots. But that we could park up the street at an parking lot, that charges $2.00 an hour or $10.00 for all day.OK, that threw us...

Suficiente fora de temporadaPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels

The hotel was overbooked and we were met by friendly helpful person who gave us the option to stay in a room with a not so great King bed & mold in the bathroom or go across the street. We chose to go across the street. We were promised an upgraded room for our return night, but chose to go elsewhere then also.

Excellent!!!Posted Jun 23, 2015
My husband and I stood here for 3 nights, the staff were very friendly from the minute we got there! The room had a full kitchen, they even provided dishes, utensils, pots/pans, etc!! The pool was clean and well kept. The beach is a two minute walk behind the hotel and it's beautiful!! The hotel even provides beach towels, chairs, noodles, beach balls for guests to use-free of charge!!! I have two children that I did not bring with me in this trip but will definitely bring them back to this hotel again!!

Very close to all the restaurants and pier.Posted Jun 16, 2015
Very old room with nice refrigerator and air conditioner. The beds were the worst ever! Felt look your sleeping on a box spring. Wireless internet was poor and the tub leaked all day and night.

Nice room, cute hotelPosted Jun 9, 2015 on Hotels
A short walk to beach. Easy to walk to stores, restaurants. Nice hotel & safe area. Bed too firm for me, maybe add a mattress pad. No cable channels but no biggie for us. Free WiFi but was weak in our room. Love the room decor and Lauderdale-by-the-sea area. Will be coming back!

MalissimoPosted Jun 2, 2015 on Hotels
Camera vecchia e fatiscente. Condizionatore e frigo rumorosissimi. Rubinetti che perdono. Porta che non chiude e con spifferi. Letto cigoloso. Nessuna manutenzione. Nonostante il personale gentile é stata una delle peggiori esperienze.
