Not happy

Looks like the sheets were not changed the toilet was filthy Hotel not well-kept at all

I booked my room on expedia. and I don't know where the communication broke down came in but showed up to my hotel from the Bahamas and was told that they have no power so they are not renting there rooms. I asked if arrangements were made for there guest who had already paid and booked there stay and was told you are on your own. They collected peoples money and then told them they had to find another hotel without any refund or assistance was disappointing and also for them not to have a generator. hotels need to have better communication with companies like expedia etc to advise whats going on with there brand. It doesn't feel good leaving your home travelling overseas to find yourself homeless. By the way all the other hotels in fort Lauderdale had no rooms. thanks expedia and days inn

Terrible stay

The front desk staff host you like they're managing a homeless shelter, throwing everything over the desk, coarsing and just being vulgar. The hotel itself has not been touched since the late 70's so the smell of the carpets are terrible. The whole place smells cigarettes Shower didn't work so the maintenance guy came and removed the head in order to get some water

Would not recommend

First I was placed in a smoking room (I killed 5 roaches in one night). I requested to move, I then moved into a non smoking room. Three roach issue was not too bad. I killed 6 roaches in total for the last 5 days there. I took videos of the roaches crawling. The staff is very nice.

Cons: Need more than one person at the desk at one time. It was busy and another person would have made the check in experience quicker. Pool was very dirty
Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Great location

Horrible won't stay here again. They charge u 100 usd for security deposit. No iron was in the room, no hotel security. Not safe for a tourist.

Better than before

I've stayed in this hotel every other year since 2005 and last year was the first time I had a bad experience but this time it was pretty nice . The room was clean the ice machines actually worked and everything was great.
