I’m not sure how this hotel receives 4 stars. I’m not a picky person but it was not clean at all, and is very outdated-I can handle that if it’s clean. We won’t be going back. Service was good and people were nice.

The continental breakfast was awesome. The pool area was awesome as well. However, the rooms are very very outdated. The carpeting is filthy. There was food on the floor left over from previous guests, always had to ask for more towels always had to ask for more pool towels. Would love to give this a five star based on the breakfast area and the pool but unfortunately the room was disappointing.

The noisiest hotel!! Every night it sounded like we were at a NASCAR speedway. Very hard to sleep. The first night, I found a blood stain on the pillow case and limited towels, no rug. Water bottles were scarce and the interior made me dizzy with all the levels and open design. Not going back.

Property is very outdated and needs to be renovated. Mold on the ceiling in the bathrooms. The pool and bar is very nice.

A nicer property than I had expected. Staff was super friendly...rooms were nice, with little balcony's...and a super pool. Really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely come back again, for a longer stay, sometime in the future.

We stayed at this property the night before a cruise at Port Everglades. The location is fabulous for walking access to shops and restaurants and close to the port. The property is not in good shape. The rooms are dated and the furniture and carpet in sleeping rooms was not good. Check-in was a pain. There were 4 people working at the desk and they seemed to argue over who had to help us. It took 45 minutes to check in because the credit card machine didn’t work well. The front desk employee admonished me because I took my card out when it was instructed but apparently should’ve waited. He was not kind. A line formed behind me and the other employees didn’t help the others for quite awhile. We were only given 2 towels in a room booked for 4 that’s slept 6. We called for more and none were provided. We had to physically go to front desk and then was admonished by the front desk staff for needing more because “all rooms are set for 2” and we should’ve called, which we did even though one of the phones in our room didn’t work. The location is awesome. The atrium is pretty. The pool is nice. But the pool area clearly hadnt been cleaned all day and by 5 was full of dirty towels and glasses. For the price, I cannot recommend this property.

Desk staff was very slow and booked us into a room that was already occupied. Staff spent 10 minutes trying to figure out who was in the room and why before I suggested that they solve that issue after they assign me to another room. Happy hour drinks are way to limited. You should discontinue trying to market this as a benefit. Breakfast buffet quality has severely deteriorated since our many prior stays and we will not select Embassy Suites for our future pre cruise. Price FAR exceeded the value

The TV in our bedroom doesnt work. Also the shower/ bath does not work and we are forced to just wash in the sink! This was not what i expect from an expensive Hilton hotel! Pathetic! Fortunately we are only staying for 1 night!

Room was extremely dated and dirty looking. They should be ashamed of taking advantage of people trying to connect with cruises. Way too expensive for what you get. more in line with 150$/night rooms elsewhere.

Went to go to bed sheets did not fit. Went down to the front desk twice they gave me sheets to put on the bed. Had king size bed. None of the sheets fit. Fourth set sheets that arrived at our door. Ended up being extra long twin. We’ll never stay there again overpriced and was not very nice. Very disappointing.

Great place for kids and amazing pool, property, staff. Very convenient for one night before cruise. We were on a higher level and so bathrooms took longer to flush. Also, bathroom overall could have been cleaner, felt dirty.

Staff was kind and efficient. Room was clean, but hallway carpet was very dirty. Great transportation to and from airport and port. Pool area was nice, but they need more cushions for the loungers. Furnishings seem very dated. Very close to the port.

The Embassy Suites is in a great location on 17th street, close to shopping, great restaurants and transportation. There is a free tour bus available right on 17th street that takes you to the ocean and water taxi. Nightly reception with free drinks is great. Pool area is great. Hotel rooms are in need of a update, lighter colors, coat of paint would go a long way. Great breakfast provided

I liked location - lots of shopping and good dining options. I liked the breakfast and snacks/ drinks offered at no extra cost and liked the fact I could get a suite - that had a bed and a separate room. The only criticism would be the elevators are really slow when there is a big crowd ( as there is the night before a cruise)

The shower handle was difficult to turn on and the pillows are thin and have poor support. But it's very pretty decor and I liked the open space of the suite. I enjoyed the view.

Property it’s old mold in showers wood eaten on door frames carpet beyond dirty do not take off your shoes off when you are in the room. Sinks clog and toilet seemed it would clog any minute. Told front desk never did anything about it. The pictures are not accurate. Only positive I have to say is their breakfast was good.

This is an old building with not enough elevators and the rooms are old with bad connections. Wi fi was not good always had to log back in. Room smelled old not worth 433 with tax!

Staff friendly and competent. Decor dark and gloomy, but clean. Room facing the main street was quiet. Expensive price, but comparable to nearby properties. Free breakfast was good.

They switched my room at check-in, ended up across from the elevator in a room that has two TVs. Neither one of them work. Toilet kept running, very dated facility. Do not recommend.

The hotel looks okay from the outside and inside in the lobby. However, the room itself appears old and dirty, with a bad and unpleasant smell, most likely due to the stained old carpet. The furniture also needs to be replaced as it is old, dirty, and scratched. Additionally, the bathroom was clogged and the water was not flowing. Unfortunately, no one responded to my request to fix the problem. I was not satisfied with my experience and will not be returning to this hotel. I paid $680 for two nights, and on top of that, I had to pay $40 per day for parking my car. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved the old established feeling of this large building with amenities. Shuttle service (fee) to port. Free drinks and complimentary snacks in pm plus breakfast in am. Decor could use an update soon. It was probably updated 25 years ago very nicely! We loved the walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and shopping.

Very convenient location to the cruise port and tons of food options to walk too. Also has a grocery store that’s only a 5 minute walk for those items you forgot to pack. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Needs to be updated. We have been coming to this hotel for 15 years. The only thing updated has been the tv’s. There are no usb ports except behind the tv. The toilets have no pressure therefore will not flush properly. The only good thing is Elizabeth in the bar. She is the reason we come back and the pool area.

Was quiet a challenge getting checked in. We arrived at 9:30 am and didn’t get in until 3:30. Supposedly they had been texting us. Never got anything until I finally got up from the chair and said is there nothing ready yet. Unacceptable. I still haven’t received those texts

Stayed for one night after our cruise. The property is VERY dated and in need of remodel. The couch was very dated. For the price, which was very high, I definitely would not stay there again.
