Hidden gem

First I have to say I normally don't comment on reveiws but my experience was so good with the resort it would be unjust not to. I travel for business a good amount so staying at this resort was a breath of fresh air. The staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. The location of the resort is ideal. Walk about 600 feet &-your standing on the beach. The pool areas (there are two) are clean & beautifully surrounded by mature lanscaping. The buildings are mature as well but kept up & very clean &-functional with latest amenities. The furniture is older but in good shape. The mattress on my bed was top of the line & comfortable. I slept as good as I do at home. The sofa in my room was firm and comfortable too. Not all smashed down and worn. My room also had a full kitchen which was clean, & in good shape. The perimeter of the resort is gated & you need a key to enter. A nice security feature. So if you are looking for a great place to stay in a great location for a great price this is it. Like anything else in this world one size don't fit all. If you require the high end sterile commercial cookie cutter hotel this isn't the place for you. Stay at the Westin that is literally 250 feet down the road. You will pay at least double the price, Get the typical big hotel service, room, bed, & amenities. For me & my family the Granada inn is ideal. They get my business everytime, hands down. The staff here truly understand what real customer service is. & they aim high to please

Small Friendly Affordable Hotel

Small friendly affordable hotel, in a handy location. Two minutes from the beach and five minutes walk along the waterfront to many places to eat. Also handy to the Sun Bus (tourist bus) route, which is a cheap way to get around.

Pros: Location and charm
We've stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. The hotel is comfortable and the staff is friendly. It is a gem, tucked away in a quiet area, but only steps from the beach, shops and restaurants.

Motel:Close to beach

I didn't expect it to be such average, 'low-quality' it was like a low budget motel. Never again. ...

Nice location

Posted Feb 5, 2016
The location was excellent. Liked the small courtyard with pool which was quiet and cozy. The room was fine but did have a musty odor which affects how you feel about the space. Also at night it was very quiet. The availability of beach chairs and towels for use on the beach was great. Very easy parking. Late check in was a problem as no one was there.
