The king size bed was reserved, but no longer available. Room had very, very dirty carpet and smelled of urine, as did one bed, so I slept on the other. Room had dirty towel from previous guest hanging on bathroom door

The people are nice, but the facility is very understaffed and undersupplied. I spent a week there and the room was not serviced once. I was expected to use two towel for a week. It was also over-priced compared to other hotels. Do not stay more than one night, or bring your own supplies.

This Hampton Inn was conveniently located right off the interstate and close to ocean beaches. The hotel is clean. Nice variety of breakfast items every morning. But the most important attribute, to me, was the friendly and courteous staff, from the front desk to the breakfast room staff and the cleaning staff. Thank you for a very pleasant visit.

Pros: The best of the hotel is the great staff, always very helpful and attentive. Average breakfast. Wide room. Cons: Gym is very small, a kind of one-person room. The room was apparently clean, but looking below the bed the reality showed up. Besides, the carpet was stinky. Breakfast wasn’t varied but good enough however for a short stay.

I came at noon prior to check in which would be about 2 o’clock. I found this desk person to be rather rude. When I did finally check in at five, that young lady was absolutely wonderful, very friendly, and knew her business.

After waiting about 45 minutes to check in (we were a bit early for the 3pm check in time) because they were still cleaning rooms, we went to our room and immediately upon entry it was dirty. There was a used q-tip on the floor, there was a little puddle of clear liquid with hair right as soon as you enter in the bathroom, there were little hairs all over the toilet seat, the carpet could not have been vacuumed because there were chunks of dirt all over, I noticed the pillow cases were dirty so I pulled back the blankets and what I saw on the sheets was so disgusting we immediately grabbed our bags and left.

Breakfast items were not available throughout the posted breakfast period. Items missing were: all bread/muffins, orange juice, oatmeal and associated toppings, fruit-no fruit at all. One person running his around doing the best he could is not enough for a sold out holiday weekend. They need another breakfast monitor on such days. When I asked for the missing items I was told by a hotel employee who was not helping with the breakfast area that “It is 9 o’clock breakfast is over.” It was not 9am. She went on further to say that they just didn’t have the food to put out saying “When it is gone what can we do?” This was a lie as some bagels were brought out shortly after. She was trying to appease me but never admitted the hotel was lacking in ordering/staffing on sold out days. I believe she went back to her housekeeping duties after talking with the front desk attendant.
