When we checked in we did not receive the room we thought we had paid for. They said because we had booked through Expedia, the description of the room was not correct. We thought we were getting a Jr. suite that was supposed to be over 600 sq’ with a kitchenette, bedroom and living space with a couch. Instead we got a small room with just a bed and small kitchenette(which was just a microwave, fridge and two burners on a very small countertop). The kitchenette had no kitchen supplies unless you asked for them. There was no laundry machines in the hotel to do a quick load of laundry. Instead we were told to use the laundry service that was crazy expensive. The workers in the pool area were very rude.

CONS: They don't advertise the $60/day parking fee associated parking your rental car! Only after staying a night did I find out the Budget rent-a-car desk in the lobby won't charge you for parking. The showerhead in the room looked old and clogged. The pool & spa water was frequently dirty. Nobody advised me of the bicycles they offer. The maid service couldn't tuck the sheets under the mattress. I've heard from other guests the onsite breakfast cafe had "rubbish" coffee. Be prepared to exhaust your walkable dining options in a very few short days without a rental car. PROS: I had a beautiful ocean view! Hard to get a room with a bad view here! You're right across the street from the Atlantic Ocean! The room overall was clean. Casablanca Cafe, El Vas, The Village Cafe, and Evenlyn's in the Four Seasons were all excellent and walkable dining options. The front desk staff overall were very friendly and welcoming!

The room was really nice, my balcony overlooked the beach, & it was really spacious. Nicely decorated, & I appreciated the 2 full bathrooms. However, it felt like no one had been in it for a while, kinda dusty, & had a stale smell. The property itself was very nice as well. There were a couple instances when I had to call multiple times for either towels or silverware. Every time I called/ texted valet for my car to be ready, it never was, ended up having to just call the front desk to make sure the car was ready instead. Valet was expensive, 55.00 per night. I also didn’t know the water in Fort Lauderdale was yellow. If it wasn’t an hour from Miami & didn’t have yellow water I’d stay there again, but that’s more to do with Fort Lauderdale than the property itself.

For a property that supposed to be a luxury property things about this were just not luxury. As a chef, I wanted to do some fancy cooking in my room when I asked for pots and pans I got the cheapest equipment possible and not all the things I needed. I was also surprised, that housekeeping was very slow in making up rooms and I thought that many of the staff members had bad manners. Manners are important, especially in a high-end location.

Our stay was very nice property was clean staff was respectful and courteous. The food offerings were reasonably thought out. The two issues we ran into were elevator accessibility on the weekend several times we waited twenty minutes for the elevator to arrive and take us to our room. The Nube restaurant should advertise that their dinner menu changes after 7:00 pm. We made reservations for 7:30 pm and was offered a small tasting type menu.

I was disappointed with the ocean front view. Also there was pressure washing in the middle of night so not much sleep. Only one elevator out of 4 working the majority of time.The panels on outside of building kept rattling at night making sleeping hard. So overall not to pleased with hotel.

There was construction at the facility I was not notified about in advance of my arrival, our room door was sticky. The elevator service was slow and unreliable The monitoring at the pool, where loads of small, unattended children under the age of 12, or in the hot tub, but the severely enforced removal of personal items on a chair when a person could be within a pool I think it was unfair I had ordered room service. There was quite a delay in the room service. It took over an hour. I was received a phone call from the front desk and was told I would receive it would be credited and I wouldn’t be charged then when the food finally arrived and additional half an hour 40 minutes later, I had to sign a receipt charging me for that food no resolution was ever given to me to correct the matter. The room above our head, random and weird noises throughout the evening making it difficult to sleep.

Overall it was a good vacation but expected slightly a better check in process. Upon arrival at 4pm which is the local check in time, we were informed that the room is not yet ready. While I understand it was the week of spring break and many families traveling, this is something the hotel should anticipate. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for a while now, and have already had a positive experience. Eventually we got our room about 2 hours late, but the hotel manager did make it up to us by comping a $100 for restaurant on premises. The actual stay was good with room clean and staff friendly. The hotel is nice, clean and attractive. The room we had chosen was very small and it was in a shared entry area with another room, supposed to be for families or people traveling together. This was not apparent online. We could hear everything they said. It also didn't have a balcony, which was not apparent online either. It's called a Beach House room. I spoke with Malieka the next morning and she said "That's the room you paid for. " And I said I didn't know that when I reserved it. Do you have any others? She said we don't have any thing until tomorrow. But she didn't offer to let me know when a room became available. The next day I got a text asking if everything was good and I said no. The asst. manager responded and I told him about the room . He said they could give me an upgrade for a difference in cost and I said we would take it. He was very pleasant and helpful. That room was very nice and had a balcony. What I expected when I made my reservation. And I couldn't hear everything from the next room. Everything was very good after that except when we went to the beach we had to wait an hour in the hot sun for our chairs and an umbrella which you pay $32 for. When I texted the customer service number unfortunately Malieka answered and said they had nothing to do with the umbrellas, they are run by a company. I said, "but the chairs we have to wait for are your company's responsibility to make sure we don't have to wait an hour for."

We absolutely loved our room, the staff, the hotel itself. The only issue is the pool and beach area; although beautiful, when the property is at max capacity you have to rush to the pool to save seats at the pool. It’s not very relaxing; other than making the pool area bigger I’m not sure how they could improve it. The room was a true suite, with such beautiful furniture, and so clean. We will return for sure, but perhaps not during the spring break season.

I loved being across the street from the beach. I also loved that we were on floor 7 which was only one flight of stairs to the pool or fitness or breakfast restaurant so we could just walk instead of taking the elevator. We traveled during spring break, so the property was fully occupied. I understand that it was a ton of people but that would also mean there is a need for additional employees. Room service of any kind took over 45 minutes and it seemed really long when you were waiting on a small item. The resort needed an improvement in the lobby at the front door/flooring and even that was handled without a huge interruption. the valet people were always awesome and friendly, that service took a while too but still very nice. I wished that the rate for having a rental car in and out of the garage could have been up front in the booking. I would have skipped renting a car and just used uber/public transportation. We did not have A/C in our room for the first two nights and our kids were sunburnt so that was uncomfortable, and we were offered $200 credit even though our stay was over $2k We are Hilton Honors members, so we like the brand. This experience for our family was still a fun one but all the little things make a difference when you are away from home. For example, family of four showing up to breakfast and getting charged $18 to have the server leave the carafe of coffee on the table seemed excessive. Just include the coffee. It's the small things.

Hotel was super clean, great location. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all your needs were met. Great restaurants within the hotel as well as in walking distance.

We will not come back to this hotel. Rooms were loud, you could hear every word/ movement from the next door neighbor. Had to call 3 times to get toilet paper stocked up, the room was not cleaned twice on a 5 day stay. The cafe ( Le Marche) was out of every single item you can think about, but of course not the 60$ wine bottle.... It was just a very disappointing stay for the money we paid.

Views were great. Steps from the beach is awesome. Booked with group of 5 and weren’t able to get on same floor (even called days before to pre-arrange). Everyone on different floors and front desk unwilling to help our 5 daughters (on their senior year trip) get access to each other's floors. It was a huge pain to get together when our only option was the stairs from 22nd floor down to 8. Why go to front desk every morning to get water bottles? Just give them all at check-in if people want them. It just creates unnecessary extra traffic at the small check-in counter every morning.

Was a short stay but was very pleased Loved our room and the view Nice a clean The restaurant on premises was excellent for Easter dinner. We enjoyed the food, and the waiter was very hospitality.
