Facility great overall and clean, quiet room

Pros: The room was clean and quiet, the facility was very well-kept up overall and the staff was friendly.
Cons: A complimentary continental breakfast, however simple, would have been a great amenity.
Location: We didn't spend time in the immediate area, we went to South Beach.
The lobby was modern-looking, spacious and the lemon water was a nice touch. The staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating. We stayed two nights and never had any noise and the room was very clean. We had a meal brought to our room - the service was quick, one item might have been omitted but the portions were more than adequate and the food was very good. I wish the hotel was located closer to the airport or South Beach, but for the price I would happily stay there again.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, good food and great atmosphere at Bar.
Large spacious room, comfortable at all times, décor slightly dated.

Location: Wasn't there long enough to explore the area.
Everything about the hotel was great except for the location. It was listed as a hotel for the Ft Lauderdale area. It wasn't until I arrived that I found that it was a $60 taxi ride from the Hollywood Airport. Didn't look that far on the map. A little misleading. Also it is confusing that the name of the hotel is the same 'Hilton Garden' as the hotel that is 4 miles from the airport with a free shuttle. I was booked for two nights, but only stayed one, non-refundable. Found a new place 3 miles from FLL for the second night. Hadn't budgeted for all that. Next time I think I won't book in a flight/hotel package. Better to shop for hotels separately and get what you really want.

Pool closed for renovations

Refrigerator wasn't working, pillows were flat, weird smell in the hallway, was never anyone at front desk
