Unable to check in.

Despite having made a reservation on Expedia, I was told no reservation existed for me. The only rooms available were smoking rooms. Unacceptable. I never checked in. Horrible place. The lobby is closed at night and all this communication took place through a plexiglass window. A dingy and shady operation.

Short drive from everything

Pros: How close it was to everything, ample parking, and the breakfast that was offered daily.
Cons: If I should stay here again, I would like to make sure not to be placed near the outdoor lounge area as I am a light sleeper
Location: It was within a few minutes driving distance from ocean and restaurants like Smokey Bones, as well as only a short 20 minute drive to FLL.
I stayed for 5 days at the La Quinta Inn. My only concern was that I had placed in the comments to be put in a quiet area of the hotel and was placed near their outdoor lounge which can get loud at certain times during the day which can be tough on a light sleeper.. The neighbors were also occasionally noisy which made it difficult at night to rest. The hotel staff was very much courteous and professional. I did have difficulty occasionally with the door not wanting to open after using my keycard. Overall though I did feel safe at this hotel.

Hotel Stay

The hotel was a hard to find because of its location. The hotel receptionist were friendly and helpful, can't say the same for some cleaning personnel. Parking is very limited. The laundry facilities is small and to pricey to wash and dry your clothes. The free breakfast was some what addiquit.

Nice hotel close to beach and shopping

This is an older hotel. Which needs some work. But for what i needed it worked for me. They acomodated me very late check in. Also gave me a late chech out. The beds and pillows where very confortable. The cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job of cleaning and keeping stock of clean towels every day. Some days we got up late. But they always came after and had a clean room ready for us. If your a woman teaveling alone ask for a room with door facing inside property. Our room was in back of hotel facing parking lot so it may not be too safe for someone traveling alone. Just my thought.

Pros: Clean, and nicely placed on property
Location: Several Shopping Malls near by
It was a nice experience for my wife and I. We arrived late in the evening and our reception was warm, friendly, and accommodating.

Room had terrible smell of cigarett smoke

Asked to change room as it smelled terribly of smoke but told it was a non smoking room and there was no other room available.

Pros: I liked the close location of the hotel from port everglade
Cons: It was the last available room, maybe if I was in a non-smoking room it would have been nice

Very poor service. Rude staff. Very limited breakfast items. But excellent location.
