Parking good. Good access to I 95. Needs TLC!

Not that clean or maintained. A/C very noisey. Terrible breakfast. Items run out and not replaced. Poor selection. No. Credit/Debit card reader. Would not stay in this facility again.

Expect the unexpected

Posted Apr 11, 2017
Booked room for good rate in the area, didn't see to be a bad location or facilities. At check in i was told that needed to leave $100 for incidentals because I booked through Expedia, and it was Hotel policy. He insisted that it was not a charge, just an authorization, but it would take 4-5 days to come off, but then he proeceeded to acknowledge that it was a charge. I declined to do put my card, and asked to see the hotel policies, which the clerk could not find. He then decided to argue the point with me, and I started to rthink as reviews on the hotel chain, for what he decided to check me in, and give me my key, but not before making sign for a non-smoking policy with a fee of $250 if they need to clean the smoke smell. Put me in a room next to the elevator, the room must have been an smoking room before, and demanded him to come and check/smell the room, because I could already see that would try to hit me with the fee. He acted like it was never that like that. I usually leave my card for incidentals, but he was very clear from the beginning that was going to charge my card because I booked through Expedia. So that alerted me that it was either this hotel's game or the chain, but after reading different locations reviews, is definitely the chain. Definitely would not stay at this or any other La Quinta Hotels!!

We started with a corner room that was very small but they upgraded us to a very nice room at no additional cost.

Good locale / shabby conditions / won't stay again

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: Good location ... near I95. Good shower.
Cons: Don't make guests pay in advance. appliances and electronics = in working order. Breakfast = more fresh products, more protein and vege's / fruit.
Location: Adjacent to a Home Depot parking lot. Very unpleasant.
Had to pay in advance. If had opportunity to inspect room before paying, I would have left. TV remote didn't work; discovered that at 10:30 pm; Front Desk arrived with 2 replacements, one of which had no cover for battery compartment. Room furniture in shabby conditions. Hotel needs an overhaul if expect business people to stay there. I checked out a nearby La Quinta's lobby which was far superior. Breakfast was disappointing ... hard boiled eggs were overdone and old.

Thank you very much for the review of our hotel. I'm sorry we dropped the ball during your visit but rest assured I've gone over your stay with my front desk and heart of house teams. Something as simple as a missing cover for a remote control should never have slipped past us. We are working to improve and we hope to see you again.

Not great.

I did not expect a lot as it was one of the last rooms available in the area. I felt uncomfortable on arrival. If I was traveling with my wife I would have driven off without checking in. Parking lot was in poor condition and even more poorly lit. Several groups of men were gathered in the lot smoking and talking. Room was not bad but bedding was old and worn, three locks on the door maybe tells the whole story.

Nice staff. Hallways were dirty and smelled a little like cigarettes. Hall carpet should be replaced. Room was fine. Bed too firm. Overall what I expected.
