Good locale / shabby conditions / won't stay again

Had to pay in advance. If had opportunity to inspect room before paying, I would have left. TV remote didn't work; discovered that at 10:30 pm; Front Desk arrived with 2 replacements, one of which had no cover for battery compartment. Room furniture in shabby conditions. Hotel needs an overhaul if expect business people to stay there. I checked out a nearby La Quinta's lobby which was far superior.
Breakfast was disappointing ... hard boiled eggs were overdone and old.

Something as simple as a missing cover for a remote control should never have slipped past us. We are working to improve and we hope to see you again.
