2 Thumbs Down - Worst Hotel Ever
Posted Sep 6, 2016 on Hotels
This is the worst La Quinta and it was a VERY UNSAFE area. There were at least 4 broken down cars in the parking lot! There were very unsavory people wandering around AND I felt unsafe just walking down the hallway trying to get to my room. The first morning that I had breakfast in their breakfast room, there was what looked like a homeless woman passed out at one of the tables in the middle of all her dishes with her breakfast smeared all over her, and if that wasn't bad enough, as I was leaving this area, there were two more homeless people in line to get food. Not a safe environment at all! The pool did not look like it had been cleaned for a least a couple of months. The last thing was that there was a couple that was screaming at each other very loud in another room and it felt like they were in the room with me, plus they let their kids run up and down the hall screaming and laughing. None of this was taken care of by the hotel staff. I know of two other single women that had checked in to this hotel for the same reason I did, and that was at the suggestion of the company who was putting on this training class for us. They have been notified by ALL OF US that this La Quinta Hotel needs to definitely be taken off their list as possible hotels to stay for their company guests. In my book, this is completely unacceptable and the La Quinta's Corporate Office needs to take a good look at the management practices at this hotel.

Thank you for providing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your stay was not pleasant. We were not aware of any guest passed out on the table at breakfast. We do have system in place to deal with these kind of situations. As always we do not tolerate noise disturbance once it is brought to our attention. Please let me know who did you communicate in our staff regarding these unpleasant encounters so I can find out why the situation was not handle properly. Again, I apologize for inconvenience.
