Great Choice.

Pros: It's close proximity to shopping and restaurants. It was also in the perfect location.
Cons: Can't say that I could say anything that would need changing.
Location: Everything was almost in walking distance which worked just fine for me.
Excellent hotel. It is located within range of almost everything you would need to enjoy a vacation stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Older hotel, good staff, clean rooms, but...

Cons: Soundproofing between rooms and floors. Better breakfast, must include something with protein to balance all the carbohydrates.
Location: Large shopping mall with movie theatres within walking distance (two blocks). Lots of retail and restaurants within one half mile.
thin walls. Could hear the person in the room next to me get 'alert tones' on their cell phone. Not to mention hearing when the room next to me and above me used the bathroom (in detail). Sad since the rest of the facilities, lobby, hallways, room, bed are all very good. Note that the free breakfast, like a lot of hotels, includes NO protein, not even hard boiled eggs. All carbs.

Central location to malls, airport & eateries

My stay was comfortable. I disagree with the hotel holding 75 dollars up front against my credit card for "incidentals" as the room was already paid for in full prior to my visit. Hotel policy should be re-visited on same. Will stay again- nice decor, clean and relaxing

Pros: the staff was great room was nice a clean hotel overall was clean...
Cons: MOVE THE FIRE ALARMS FROM SO CLOSE TO BATHROOM DOOR PLEASE.....
Location: location is perfect!! a lot of things to do nearby...
stay was great!!! only everytime I take a hot shower an open the bathroom door the fire alarm went off...........

Nice for what I wanted it for

Cons: The deposit of $75 for incidentals. I informed the front desk staff that I had my cell and that I was going out to eat. Would no accept cash.
Location: Great location
I had an appointment at Lens Craters which was inside Broward Mall. The hotel was in walking distance to the Mall

Last Minute Trip

My sister and I took a last minute trip and had to find a hotel with reasonable prices. I'm happy we were able to find LaQuinta in Plantation. The service was phenomenal! The room was super clear and the decor is everything! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had an awesome night sleep and will be returning soon!

Not clean

Pros: Front desk staff
Cons: Hotel needs updating and needs to be cleaner!!!
Location: Malls close and restaurants close
Dirty socks found in the ice bucket!!!! Room very dusty!!!

Very clean and great staff, quite and safe area close to restaurants and bars. Price is reasonable, Location is good, I will recommend this place

Nice and quiet

When I got to the hotel, I was told that my king-size room was unavailable. I was given a room with two double beds instead, but the room was discounted for the inconvenience. Joy, the lady at the front desk, was extremely kind and patient and was a joy to talk to while doing everything The room was comfy and spacious. The black out curtains were a blessing, I haven't slept that well in a long time!!! My only complaint was that there were bugs in the room. There was a large one in the bathtub crawling around, and a dead, squashed one on the dresser. It made me feel uncomfortable, and I checked the room to make sure that was it The pool was nice to relax by. I fell asleep on the lounge chairs soaking up some sun. I would recommend the hotel to a friend, but would warn them about the bugs first
