Great property, rooms are a roll of the dice

Pros: location, beach proximity, heated pool, bamboo restaurant
Cons: older rooms need to be modernized and refurbished
Location: on the beach, many restaurant options and some shopping within walking distance
each room is privately owned, therefore it's pure luck if you end up with a great room or like the terrible room I got (room 501). it was old, outdated, and bathroom was mold and mildew ridden. since we weren't planning on being in room a lot it was doable for only two nights, room was large and overall clean enough except for the bathroom. the beach, pool, onsight restaurants, and overall facility was great. I would go back but only if I were guaranteed an updated clean room.

Great hotel on the beach

Went for 36th bday. Rooms were comfy but no fridge in the double bed rooms only King rooms so you have to get ice from tiki bar. The tiki bar is reasonably priced and food and drinks were delicious. No phones in some rooms. Hotel is right on the beach. Pool was clean. I'd stay there again.

We book a standar suite, when we check in they upgrade us to the penthouse. It was room with full size kitchen, leaving room, dining room....everything was excellent.

I was promised an ocean front suite with a balcony to watch the airshow...even had it put in writing at booking...when I got there it was a side view of the ocean

Loved out stay here & wish we could have stayed longer. Manager was very generous in upgrading our room so we could have a kitchenette at no additional cost. Tiki bar right next to pool so we could watch kids while enjoying some shade & refreshments. Will definitely be back.

Sorry to report I will not book this location again. Why, you may ask? Glad you did. Room was clean but dated. Furniture was strange and not comfortable. The bed was very uncomfortable!! Not sure if Hotels.com is aware but they charge an additional $15.00 per person per night as well as $8.00 per day for parking a vehicle. All of this is over and above the price advertised on Hotels.com. People at the desk were friendly but actually witnessed the GM (at least that's what he called himself) trying to pick-up young women at the Valet parking desk. Very unseemly and unprofessional. He made them offers they could not refuse while i was in line behind them. Never offered anything to me. Of course I'm a 50 year old man! Go figure!!
