Close to cruise port and shuttle service to ship.

Posted Feb 8, 2016
Pros: Shuttle from airport and shuttle to cruise port.better
Cons: Better organized check in.
Location: Close to airport and cruise port.
Check in was hectic but the room was clean. Breakfast was well organized with so many people. Some confusion but probably due to east coast snow storm.

Close to the airport and Cruise port.

Posted Feb 6, 2016
Pros: Close to the port. Shuttle service. Helpful staff and drivers. Free internet, somewhat secure.
Cons: More staff hired for check-in service. Larger sheltered breakfast service area.
Location: We didn't really have a lot of motivation to explore because of the rain, but the TGIFridays that the shuttle took us to was outstanding!
We called from the airport for a courtesy shuttle and didn't have to wait very long. It was a long walk from the baggage claim to the pick up station. The last several paces were not sheltered and it was raining pretty hard when we got there. It's a very busy front desk and understaffed for the number of people signing in. Those who helped us check in were courteous and kind, but one who had started our process got called to the phone and the young man who continued serving us inadvertently repeated some steps in the process and seemed confused. The shuttle service to and from the hotel is independently owned and operated by KSA transportation, so rides from the port to the airport can be arranged for a reasonable price at the hotel KSA desk, cheaper than the Cruise-offered shuttle. The same shuttle service took us to a local restaurant that night. It continued to rain heavily that night, though it cleared in the morning. The seating space for the breakfast buffet was totally inadequate for the number of guests, and the available outside seating by the pool was not only inadequate as well, it was still soaked from the night's rain. Four of us sat sideways on two damp poolside deck chairs and placed our food on a tiny 'table' about 18" in diameter. The morning checkout and shuttle scheduling was complicated by the huge number of people requiring both checkout and transportation. I remember on staff member for KSA saying "We're going to need a lot more buses!" Staff great!

good to stay before cruising

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Pros: Offers shuttles. Offers Breakfast. Has a Bar.
Cons: Rooms need to be updated & cleaned real good.
Location: We only used it to stay a night before going on a cruise. It does have some places to eat within walking distance.
Good less expensive place to stay before going on a cruise. Offers airport & cruise terminal shuttles. Also offers transportation after a cruise to the airport. Rooms need to be updated & cleaned real good, but is OK for a night's sleep.

Easy Access to Port Everglades

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Pros: Easy access to the airport and to the cruise Port Everglades.
Cons: Hotel rooms are becoming pretty tired, need to be updated.
Location: Taco Bell and McDonalds in easy walking distance. Other restaurants and smaller mall within easy shuttle distance.
Shuttle from the airport, to local restaurant, and to the cruise Port Everglades was excellent. Henry was an excellent baggage person who helped us with our baggage and made sure we were signed up for the shuttle to the cruise port.

Rooms very dated. Old, needs updating, musty smell

Posted Jan 27, 2016
Pros: Staff was pleasent, price reasonable
Cons: Modernizing
Location: Close to various restaurants, close to airport
Staff good, breakfast good. Room Door did not always lock when closed. Bathroom tub is worn...badly in need of modernizing/updating. Door frames were not even and painting terrible. Musty smell in our room. Air conditioning noisy.
