Very beautiful pool area... the lady working there does a wonderful job. Large hot tub is nice. Pool is so warm! Rooms are dated and a little tired looking but comfortable.

Hotel is in a rough neighborhood.

While at the hotel, a group of people were smoking marijuana near one of the main entrances. When brought to the attention of hotel staff, nothing was done about it.

Good location.

This hotel is located across from a plaza with grocery, dollar store, shopping and many places to eat near by. It's about 15min from Lauderdale by the Sea beach and about 30min from Ft. Lauderdale beach. The hotel room was not totally clean...still had some garbage on the floor. It was a little noisy bc you can hear through the walls and windows. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast....basics...eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage, coffee and cereal. But it is the same everyday. If booking on Expedia be sure to tell them you paid in advance bc they double charged me. There is a nice tiki bar by the pool and hot tub and the bar tenders were great! Fridge and microwave are extra each night. Wi-Fi is a little on off at times. Maybe it was just our room...not sure...but also by the pool area.

You get what you pay for....

Pros: The pool area looked very nice, there is a nail shop (that you have to call the person to come and open), the gift shop had nice, but expensive items.
Cons: Just a little respect level to the guests, clean the rooms a bit better, and figure out the elevator system better
Location: Pottery Barn was nice and that was about all we explored
This facility was just a place to stop and stay at before we flew home...the rooms serve their purpose, but when you have a person with a broken leg, why would you put them on very opposite end of the building?? The elevators were so slow and only worked part of the time and staff though they were nice with the "hello" aspect, they would place their carts right in the middle of the elevator, that you just waited 10 minutes for, so you couldn't get on with bags and other items. Like I said it was really just an "ok" place to stay.

Ok hotel, but smells bad

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: Pool area
Cons: Smells bad and looks old. WiFi was slow.
Location: Fort Lauderdale beach is 10-15 miles from this hotel
The hotel was Ok. It was affordable and close to downtown in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. The hotel is old and it has a bad smell may be because of its old carpet. WiFi was damn slow. The room was alright and the restroom was clean. Breakfast was provided (bread, potatoes, omlet, sausage, coffee, milk, etc.). I liked the open space with the pool to hang out. It would have been a better stay had the hotel not smelled as bad as it did.

It's an okay place

Posted Jan 7, 2017
If you're just going to stay one night after a long day of traveling then it's perfect for that but if you're staying in the area for like 3 days or more, this isn't really the place you want to stay at only because they barely have cable. They have like 9 basic channels. The food also isn't the best either but overall they're an okay place to stay.

Average but dated

Posted Jan 1, 2017
Hotel was ok. Facility is dated and the breakfast buffet was kind of gross. Rooms were quiet and it's not too far from the highway.
