Overpriced

This hotel was decent. It did take two hours after our request (and an additional request) to have down pillows and a down comforter removed from our room. We are allergic to down. This hotel aspires to be a grand hotel but it's really no more than an overpriced comfortable place to stay. it should run about half the price we paid ($160). There is no free wifi and although most room service is overpriced, this was beyond the pale.

Not Quite Up To Par

We arrived 10 minutes before our 4pm check-in and they advise it would be ready in an hour. We were not happy. I decided to go and sit at the bar While we waited. They gave us a complimentary drink each & then added complimentary breakfast for the next morning. They did a rush on the room and it was ready 25 minutes after our arrival. We had paid a bit more for the better view, instead of the parking lot, we got the ugly rooftop/air conditioner view. Not sure if would have paid more for that view, ever! The room temp was on the warm side even with the thermostat on 68 degrees. It never really cooled down during our whole stay. Made sleeping difficult. We could hear muted voices from the rooms next to us for hours. Luckily, we were staying for only one night. Due to not getting a good night's sleep from the noise & warm room, we skipped breakfast to get more shut eye. The staff at the receptionist desk were very cordial & professional, but the stay was just an okay one.

Great Hotel

Pros: design and bed is really comfortable
Cons: nothing
Location: Location. It is about 25 minutes to the beach. The complex is located in an office park and near the Sawgrass Mills outlet.
Stylish, clean, the restaurant has great food, and the rooms are super comfy. Loved the hotel.

Great option!

The hotel is well-maintained and the service was outstanding. I appreciated the modern lobby and upgraded gym facilities. I wish the room had a bit more lighting, but the bed was comfortable and the amenities were excellent!

Not really a 4 star hotel

Cons: Queen beds Room adequately stocked
Location: good shopping, restaurants, movie theater
Expedia told us we would have a room with 2 QUEEN beds. When we checked in, they told us they only had DOUBLE beds and we should complain to Expedia. The room was not stocked with everything it should have been (coffee cups, glass cups, towels for 4 people) and we had to call and request that stuff - 2 days in a row. On the 3rd day our keys stopped working in the door. I had my daughter run down twice for them to give us new keys - they didn't work. Finally we had a staff member come up and he said there was something wrong with the door. It was 11 pm and I didn't want them fixing it then. The work out room was very nice. Every single staff member was SUPER nice and helpful. The location is pretty nice. The rooms are not the most modern of hotel rooms I've stayed in - I'm surprised this is a 4 star hotel.

We checked into this hotel just to get away for one night, but ended up extending to two nights. The hotel was very accommodating.
