Not Quite Up To Par

We arrived 10 minutes before our 4pm check-in and they advise it would be ready in an hour. We were not happy. I decided to go and sit at the bar
While we waited. They gave us a complimentary drink each & then added complimentary breakfast for the next morning. They did a rush on the room and it was ready 25 minutes after our arrival. We had paid a bit more for the better view, instead of the parking lot, we got the ugly rooftop/air conditioner view. Not sure if would have paid more for that view, ever! The room temp was on the warm side even with the thermostat on 68 degrees. It never really cooled down during our whole stay. Made sleeping difficult. We could hear muted voices from the rooms next to us for hours. Luckily, we were staying for only one night. Due to not getting a good night's sleep from the noise & warm room, we skipped breakfast to get more shut eye. The staff at the receptionist desk were very cordial & professional, but the stay was just an okay one.

I apologize as the inconveniences you encountered must be very frustrating. While we pride ourselves on our hotel and service it is apparent we failed to deliver on our expectation. I hope you can give us another chance if you return to south Florida.
