Great Location....Beautiful Accommodations,

Pros: The room was lovely, clean and upgraded. Aveda products rock.
Cons: N/A....unless free breakfast. =)
Location: Right off 95....didnt explore immediate area other than a stop at the 7-11 at exit to get bottles of water. Ordered pizza from Papa Johns.
We were in town for the Orange Bowl & then a cruise from Miami. Hotel is gorgeous, Spacious room...cozy bed...updated baths with Aveda products. About 15 minutes from Ft Lauderdale airport as well as to the Hard Rock Stadium. 35-40 minutes to the cruise port in Miami. Would stay here again.

Comfy bed with lumpy pillows

Pro's: Comfy bed. Nice pool & fitness room. Wired internet (free for rewards members). Full length mirrors. Clean floors. Con's: Lumpy uncomfortable pillows; housekeeping brought us some nice fiber filled ones instead but said there were only 2 of those in the hotel. Breakfast not included in rate. AC thermostat lied about room temperature and didn't get cold enough. Wifi is not encrypted. No lighted clock in room. No recycle bin. Both room keys got deactivated suddenly during our stay; front desk happily reprogrammed but no explanation why. Sprinklers sprayed on cars in parking lot (leaving hard water spots).

Great Value

Pros: The pool area, the bar/ cafe, location. Grocery stores and restaurants a short walk away. That lobby is amazing
Cons: Better breakfast options. The breakfast was 17.00, which is only ok if you are starving.
Location: It's close to 595, so you can get anywhere in a hurry. There is a mall with restaurants, shops etc, that's a very short walk away.
This hotel is only 15 mon from airport, and near major routes, if you want to go to Miami, or anywhere. It has a wonderful pool and hot tub with a spectacular view of the pond. There is a great loop for walking just outside the pool gate. There is a nice bar, that doubles as a breakfast bar in the morning, serving Starbucks coffee! It has a nice looking restaurant . We did not eat there, so we can't comment on that. The lobby of this hotel is spectacular and inviting with many comfortable, inviting places to sit. The staff was excellent, very customer oriented.

Pros: Hotel staff were great!
Cons: Food quality
Service was awesome. The hotel restaurant was very disappointing. Probably the worst steak I've had, definitely not a quality cut of meat at all. Also the restaurant was very brightly lit, not great ambience for dinnertime.

Isolated, but nice hotel

Pros: Attractive lobby, large room and a really excellent restaurant
Location: NOTHING!
The hotel is nice but unless you have a car (or love Uber) you are stuck in the middle of nowhere. There is virtually nothing within walking distance. Fortunately the hotel has an excellent restauarant and bar on site.

Location: Didn't venture out much but not too far from sawgrass mall

Has Great Bar and restaurant

Location: 15 min from FLL airport and Weston
Loved it, was spending most of the time in a beautiful pool surrounded by lakes and palm trees and the bar was just awesome. During Hurricane Mathew we spent our days at that bar.

Luxury Style But...

I chose Rennaissance Hotel for its convenient proximity to friends I was visiting. I found the decor to be great and comfortable. Very clean too. Something though is not right here. There was no valet service. Okay, I only had one heavy suitcase and I managed. The front desk staff were wonderful. I digress here. I sat down in the dining area to have breakfast. I sat and I sat. I finally gave someone my best NYC taxi wave. A nice young man came over and seemed surprised when I asked for Starbucks coffee to start off. The hotel advertised that they had Starbucks coffee. At no time was I given a menu. Weird. After about 10 mins the coffee arrived. I took it to go and skipped breakfast.

Comfortable Bed!! Great,location. I would stay here every visit to Florida. Little pricy...for food and drinks but worth the convience.
