It is small resort with a bit of everything for a variety of people. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is well located on the beach, although there are almost no amenities right by the hotel except two other hotels with restaurants. The hotel restaurant menu needs to be much bigger in order to expect guests to eat there most of the time. Onsite parking is an extra fee, but the valet staff are quick. Hot breakfast is served daily, and the staff are very helpful, and keep in mind that they do not get tipped like the bar staff would. With private beach, pool, and hot tub, and various games onsite it is indeed a mini resort. Upon checkout we tipped all the staff other than the restaurant and bar staff who have gratuities automatically added to the bill. If you are looking for a no fuss, decently appointed rooms and with with kitchens, this all around friendly resort in south Florida is worth considering.

Property is nice with nice pool area and on the beach. Rooms are larger which helps with extra guests. There are a few hidden fees like valet and resort gratuities. The only knock is there is not much to do within walking distance. Overall it is a nice resort if looking to be on the beach in Pompano as hotels are limited.

The kitchenette and washer/dryer in our suite was a game changer for us traveling as a family with children. We could relax and let the kids be kids and get dirty. We just threw the clothes in the wash at night. I never realized how much we stressed about how we packed and making sure we had clean clothes for the duration of our trips. Moving forward, I can’t imagine not having these in-room conveniences.

This property is the best kept secret of Pompano Beach. It was our second time coming for our daughter’s birthday. Both times we spent a week. It’s a slice of heaven. Staff: you will not find a single person who doesn’t smile and greet you. Everyone goes above and beyond. The front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. The pool and beach staff are super friendly and fun. Property: this is not a luxury hotel. If that’s what you’re after, find somewhere else. If you’re looking for huge, clean rooms with beautiful views, full kitchen and washer/dryer - this is your home. The rooms are incredibly spacious and CLEAN. Having a kitchen is very handy (especially with kids). This time we encountered a few minor issues (sink not fully draining quickly, dishwasher soap dispenser broken) but none of these issues were enough for us to even contact the front desk. The pool is heated and gorgeous. There is sometimes a shortage of loungers by the pool, but the staff do their best to take away towels of people trying to “save” chairs. There are always waiters coming around and the food and drinks available are delicious. The beach is 2 steps away and is spectacular. Having grown up vacationing in Hallandale, I didn’t expect to have such gorgeous turquoise water. When it’s calm, it feels like you’re on a Caribbean island. Even when the sea is rough, the water is clear. This is an extremely family friendly resort. Everyone is wonderful with kids. We won’t ever stay anywhere else!

The staff was friendly and helpful but the amenities needed some updating. Most disappointing things were paying for beach chairs on top of an already expensive stay, weak and expensive drinks, running out of chairs, food and drinks for guests!

I booked a room with 2 queen beds for me and my son and they didn't have that room available for us, instead we got a room with a king and sofa. My son slept on the sofa which wasn't comfortable. Also, below us was the laundry room which we could hear during the day and some of the evening. We were told that they would compensate us for not having the room but have not received anything.

We had an enjoyable stay second time in the row. I would add chargers next to the night stands and draws for clothes. The rooms are spacious and there were 4 of us but not enough place to hang clothes and no draws.

Arrived on time but had to wait until 5pm to check in (check in is 4pm). Room view is okay but we expected it to be facing the water more. It will be hard to recommend this hotel unless they put us in a better location.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even had some fun banter with guests and seemed to take your comfort and happiness as a personal goal. The pool, hot tub, and private tanning area were always clean. The valet people were very friendly and could retrieve your vehicle pretty fast. The area offers a lot of options if you are willing to drive about 30 minutes in any direction. The butterfly habitat and the flamingo botanical garden were amazing visits. There are not many eateries within walking distance besides the ones attached to the hotel’s along the beach but a wide range of options are a short ride away. Kaluz was a very nice high end restaurant. Rock bar was along the beach in the party area a little way away…so at Residence Inn you are in a nice family place but a party is within reach if that fits for you. Don’t pass on Ruby’s pizza at the end of the strip. From New Jersey / New York we are very strict about judging our pizzas. Ruby’s measured up nicely. Overall it was a very positive stay and we would do it again.

This is an old hotel. We paid $500 for hotel for 2 days. Parking was not included so it ended up being $100 with tips and taxes. We got a partial view waterfront view and that was beautiful. The highlight of the trip. Breakfast was okay - no pancakes or waffles. The room was nice and spacey, although it was old. It smelled old. The in-room washer dryer was a nice touch. Overall not worth the price, but I'm grateful we got to see Pompano and drive around south florida.

Hôtel bien situé en bordure de mer. Propreté sans reproche de l'hôtel et des installations. Grande chambre et grande salle de bain. Cuisine fournie avec toute la vaisselle. Personnel attentionné. Le stationnement est avec valet et la majorité des autos sont stationnées dans le garage intérieur du Marriott à côté sauf pour la dernière journée où l'auto est stationnée à l'hôtel même, sachant que nous quitterons. Déjeuner fourni avec une bonne offre alimentaire avec des variantes au fil des jours. Le menu offert au restaurant est de base, mais la nourriture est bonne. Le Seaside Grill de l'hôtel à côté est très bon malgré son aspect un peu kitch. Sinon, les restaurants au Pier de Pampano sont très bien. L'Oceanic est recommandé ainsi que le Lucky Fish. L'hôtel est situé à 20 min de marche du Pier de Pompano Beach. Plusieurs Québécois dans cette zone, de même qu'une caisse Desjardins sur North Atlantic vis à vis le Pier de Pompano Beach. Très belle longue plage. Location de vélo possible au Pier de Pompano Beach, mais s'il manque de vélo, l'autre station la plus proche est trop éloignée (Commercial Blvd). Comme ailleurs, le pourboire pour le service aux chambres est recommandé si vous désirez avoir des serviettes. ;-) L'ascenseur et les corridors pour les chambres sont extérieurs.

Great service. Very clean. They would text occasionally to make sure too and make sure you didn’t need anything else. Bed was comfortable and the room was huge. The hot tub was perfect and the pool was warm. Strong drinks and beautiful view. The view from the room was lovely. It said partial view, but the 3 large windows I thought gave a full view. Will definitely stay here again.

Hello, yes sadly there are only a few resturants with in the immidate walking distance of the hotel, but there are more by the Pompano Beach Pier, which is only a 20 mintues walk south of the property. We do take pride in being a family friendly business. Thank you for your review.

We were given room in back with NO ocean view at an oceanfront expensive reservation. No balcony. Very basic for hi price. Sushi Lab restaurant hideously expensive be. I just came same day from Tokyo. This place had 3 Michigan star pricing for average food and drink
