Really nice property. Fantastic service in breakfast and dining area. Our server Faydrah put a smile on our faces. She is a happy person. However the gentlemen at the reception needed something to make him smile. Would definitely return should we visit Fort Lauderdale again.

As I am limited to the amount of words, I’ll only inform you of the most egregious issue. Our room’s heat was blowing cold air. The nice hotel “engineer” came to try to fix it. He was unable to do so; therefore, he said he would tell the front desk to change our room. I received a call from the manager who said they were having difficulty finding a room so asked if extra blankets would be enough. I said absolutely not. I then looked online and rooms were still available for that night, it was around 9 p.m. So I went back to the reception desk. The manager gave me a different room. The older man at the desk, who had previously been quite rude to me, actually told me that they didn’t want to give me a room in case someone wanted to check in and now they had 2 rooms they couldn’t use. This was such unacceptable behavior. Upon check out, I asked for a printed receipt. They had charged me an extra $50 per night plus tax totaling to $113 overcharge. The nice young man at the reception desk put in a credit. He said it would take a few days to post, but he gave me a receipt documenting the credit. A delay in the credit makes no sense as they took the overpayment immediately. Please take heed to all low reviews, it might make you consider different lodging.

The 2 gentleman at the reception area were rude, sarcastic and mean. Their horrible personality ruined our vacation. Don’t go to this hot. You don’t need anyone talking down on you when you pay a good price for the hotel and expect polite customer service.

Great for those traveling without a vehicle. We stayed for two nights before boarding a cruise ship. We had what is considered a smaller room but this was fine for the two of us.

Beautiful hotel. Several nice restaurants. Safe area with plenty of restaurants to walk to. Hotel staff was very courteous. Will stay there again. It was convenient to cruise port and provided a shuttle to transport us.

The location is excellent, and we enjoyed walking out to Las Olas Blvd and along the New River, watching some boats go by. The room was clean, charming and well-maintained, considering it is in a 1936 building. The shower worked well, too. My only complaint is that we were placed in a connection room, and we could hear all the noises from the next room, including the exact words of the conversations. It would be nice if the hotel could work on some soundproofing. The bell captain was helpful and self-parking was easy.

Very nice hotel well located many restaurants great walking located on canal great place for a cocktail beds are really hard my only complaint quite uber here no need for a car beach is about 2 miles

Our pre cruise stay was awesome. You can walk to everything. And the cruise port is not very far. Hotel does offer a shuttle for 12 a person. View from balcony was great. We will definitely stay again

Loved our stay at the Riverside. Canal-side pool with the bar and restaurant was lovely. Floated in 500sq ft hotel room for 1-night. Would definitely stay again. Took the water taxi from the hotel all around the city (round trip water taxi is 3 hours, has a bathroom and sells drinks). Got off water taxi at stop 6 at far end of Las Olas Boulevard to ride golf cart taxi back to hotel. Easy place to stay with kids and family (but bring your own water!). Couldn’t find a bottle of water to by anywhere nearby!

Spending the day by the pool watching the yachts sail by. Then, enjoying happy hour at the Boathouse. Could eat all my meals there. Staff and food are wonderful.

The area surrounding the hotel is sketchy. The hotel and Main Street are gorgeous! Food at the restaurant is wonderful, and our server William was very courteous and attentive.

We were in for a wedding at another hotel/venue. Had never been to Ft Lauderdale. Enjoyed our stay. The restaurants in area were great and enjoyed walking the streets. If we come back will definitely stay at Riverside.

Restaurants and coffee shop on premises. Shopping and lots more restaurants, bars nearby. Great walking on the Riverwalk and water taxi stop on site. Excellent location. Did I mention the Cheesecake Factory next door? Highly recommend the property.

Fantastic location in the heart of Ft Lauderdale on Las Olas. The staff was excellent , the room was a bit older but perfect for our stay . The Riverwalk is steps away .

Elizabeth at the front desk was a joy, her kindness and smile brought my challenging day before getting much easier. This is the only hotel to stay in on Las Olas. The staff were amazing, checking in and out was hassle free.

Beautiful Property, Amazing access to everything that the historic Las Olas Blvd has to offer but when you are inside, it feels that you are cut out from everything and feels quaint and cosy. The Dining options are incredible. Definitely try their restaurant, BoatHouse. Recommend Dinner reservations by the inland water front to get some amazing yacht views.
