This is a lovely little property conveniently located to the square for shopping- a 3 minute walk. There are two beaches to access. One being by the square with all the restaurants or El Prado park (we preferred less people). Both about a 5 min walk. There are beach chairs to be borrowed at resort but they are first come first serve and people hang onto them their whole stay. There are also kids toys and some floats you can borrow. The exterior (pools, plants and flowers) are beautiful! I’ve never seen orchids growing so perfectly in nature- very impressed! There are two pools, and a hot tub which was not hot while we were there. The owners, a married couple, are kind and helpful. They have their hands full with three buildings! They do not have beach towels so be sure to bring one (or you can buy two for $12.99 next door). Laundry is on site. The rooms are dated- think 90s. If you’re a clean freak this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you are a low to moderate maintenance person- this is a wonderful family owned feel at a price point you can’t beat. You really don’t need a car here either. I would stay again, property is relaxed. I saw some reviews about loud people and smoking a lot- I didn’t experience this at all.

The floor on arrival was visibly dirty, dirt on the floor. The base of the beds were both water stained and smelled musty. We dropped something behind the mini fridge and underneath it was filthy. Each day the smell was worse.

We spent 2 weeks at Shore Haven and really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, close to the beach and pier. The staff is extremely welcoming. We plan to return next year!

I have stayed at Shore Haven multiple times. It is in the perfect location. It is a short stroll to the beach, near multiple great restaurants, within walking distance. Two pools, 1 heated and a hot tub are attractive features. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Most of the rooms have full kitchenettes. Don't be surprised that there is no room service daily. You must ask for it, including requesting towels. But all requests get immediate attention. Something that may both some, the traffic on North Ocean Drive can be annoying at times. It does not disturb sleep.

The property is in a great location, it is close to the beach, shopping, dinning. The property is old but very clean and very well maintained. The owner people are very nice and friendly. We plan to be back.

The Shorehaven is located in a great location. Although a little dated, the property is in reasonable condition. The GM is a gentle and very nice man; he was very helpful.

Staff were very personable and helpful. Our room was very clean. Great location and walkable to almost everything you require. I would stay again.......I can not speak for the property as a whole. but our room requires some updating. Beds/room was very comfortable.

Simply was asked to turn down music which was ridiculously loud for two days in a row. When asked second day offered to leave as long as was not charged. We agreed on that. This one room had 6 adults in a room. After parents had money returned, children called police on management and threatened social media campaign. Police came. Kids were gone. Nobody had any idea what is going on.
