A small hideaway close to the beach

Posted Feb 4, 2016
At first glance, a small 18 room boutique hotel tucked away by the New River Sound sounds nice. But step inside to first class all the way. From the abundant delightful staff, to that luscious pool, the dining in their secret garden and when ready for bed, the most luxurious comfort is all yours for pure unadulterated pleasure . I was in Room 108, large enough to live in with views of both pool and the Intracoastal river. With their own private yacht you can charter and a kitchen with an absolute flair from breakfast thru dinner and 24 hour room service, you won't go hungry. Walking distance to the beach or a river taxi away to Las Olas, you are tucked right next to The Ritz Carlton. ...so you'd neighborhood is safe and pleasant. Don't miss this gem next time you are in Florida.

Avkoppling med stort plus

En skön avkoppling efter en hektisk vecka i Miami. Som vattentaxi guide sa "you are staying in the best hotel in Fort Lauderdale, no, in Florida, mam"

Unique experience and setting

Posted Nov 4, 2015
Pros: The peaceful, soothing ambiance and convenient location. A friendly, caring staff. A world-class restaurant. Its lovely setting.
Cons: Guests should be encouraged to make dinner reservations at the restaurant when they reserve their rooms. Seating is limited.
Location: The beach is a short walk, and there are restaurants nearby, though everything one could want seems available onsite.
On arrival in the morning after returning from a cruise, we were greeted with a smile and a tour of the hotel that featured a lovely pool in a beautiful courtyard with a view of the intercoastal waterway and a dock that featured dining tables. Our room was off the courtyard, a few steps from chaises by the pool. In the courtyard were containers of chilled water with sliced blood oranges and brewed iced tea. Towels were plentiful and the heated pool was inviting. The room was comfortably large, and we were offered complimentary wine or beer at the hotel's wine bar. We were able to dine at the exclusive restaurant The Secret Garden, where we were served at a table waterside at the dock both evenings of our stay, and the food was wonderful. Every member of the staff we encountered was personable and accommodating. While the hotel is located near a busy road, it offered a secluded oasis for its guests. This is one of the finest hotels we have encountered, and we are discussing a return there when we are next in Florida. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate an intimate setting where guests feel pampered.

Secret Garden in FLL

Posted Nov 3, 2015 on Hotels
I went on business, but felt so well taken care of. Beautiful, small hotel directly on the intracoastal, like a secret garden off the beaten track. Lovely room with excellent linens and toiletries, so quiet - slept like a baby. Public rooms also so pleasing- beautiful dining room, bar and library. The room service breakfast came so fast that I didn't have time to get dressed! I will stay here whenever I have business within one hour away. Thank you for loaning me your car charger, Sherrie, after the airline delayed my luggage! This stay was perfection in every way.

Perfekt gelgenes,kleines und sauberes Hotel

Posted Oct 29, 2015

Very friendly staff as well as helpful.

The staff gave us a personal facility tour to ensure that we understood all of the amenities. Great location and I sat on the back docks of the facility and watched the yachts go by.
