Appartement mit UdSSR Charme

Posted May 2, 2016

Third visit to Winterset

Posted Apr 15, 2016
This was the 3rd visit to Winterset. It is on the action part of the beach in Ft Lauderdale where tourists like to stay. It has beach availability, dining, and shopping very close and convenient. The rooms are nice and clean. This trip there was construction next door and it was annoying, but they are trying to keep the place up and I guess that is necessary from time to time. It was only a problem from 10.00 AM to 4:00 PM for 2 days and during a time period when we were mostly gone. They changed their policy and charge $10 a day for parking. I didn't like that. I wish they would just adjust their room policy instead going like the airlines and nickel and diming customers. Overall though, I like the hotel and would recommend it.

Completely ok

Posted Apr 3, 2016
Wasn't terribly expensive, close to the beach, clean. For the price I'm satisfied.

Make sure you know which building you reserve

Posted Mar 24, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Tear it down
We walked by the hotel and checked it out. The building looked remodeled and nice. We checked out the info online and the rooms looked great. When we checked in the front desk attendant appeared to be stoned out of her mind. There was incense coming from the back office. She took us to our room which happens to be in the un-remodeled hotel next door. It is a complete polar opposite of the one we thought we were getting. The room looked like something from 1955. The AC did not chill the room. The jalousie windows were scary, the blinds didn't close completely and everyone who walked by could look in. The bathroom was tiny and the paint (lead appearing) was flaking off the wall. The entire place could have at least been painted. There was no coffee maker. I travel every week for work, but this is the second worse place I've ever stayed in. Please confirm when you book your room that you are staying in the remodeled building or keep on looking!!!
