Hotel was too dirty.... I should probably say that it might need either renovation or some touch up...smell of Marijuana in the hallway...

Great location if you are visiting NYC

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Good hotel with spacious rooms. It had a bit of a smell, could use a renovation. The amazing thing of this hotel is that it is right next to GW bridge wich makes super convinient if you are visiting NYC. Another problem is that even though we had booked a room for 3 with breakfast included, at check in they told us that the breakfast is included only for 2 and had to pay 12 $ for the extra person! And that they said its expedias fault they dont say it. They should do something about that.

Need major work on this hotel, as are the staff

Posted Aug 31, 2017
Pros: Dining room staff were nice when we have breakfast.
Cons: Many things as I mentioned earlier. Front Desk Staff was not helpful. Bed sheet was not clean. Shower head was broken. AC not working well.....
Location: Japanese Market was great. Near NYC.
Giving this is a popular location and fair price, it can be much better First, the hotel is old and smell, need significant renovation sooner than latter. The front desk staff who checked me in sounded arrogant and didn't care.I was accidentally booked a smoking room and was asking to see if there is any other non-smoking room available. The guy didn't even try to help. The room was supposed to include free breakfast, but he only gave me two vouchers even though I told him we have four people. The older gentleman who helped out in the room was friendly, but didn't seem to have good resources to offer good help. In the room. the shower head can't be close tightly so it was dripping all night. The bed sheet has stains on it. The AC was not working well. Friday Karaoke sounds like fun, but it is where the front desk is. I can hardly hear when I checked in. The only positive part from my visit is that the dining room staff were friendly and helpful.

Terrible front desk staff

Pros: Location to GWB
Cons: Replace staff with good ones
Staff have bad attitude. Assigned a smoking room on spite of being clearly reserved a non-smoking room. Breakfast was ok and not worth the money. Charged someone else check onto my room and it was a struggle to get it off. Never going back to that hotel.

We always stay at this hotel when we want to visit the NYC area. Location is very convenient, price is good. Prices in the bar are too high. We paid $64 for 6 beers & a Margarita. Overpriced for a Holiday Inn bar.
