Western Canada Summer Games AccomodationsPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Proximity to bus depot, mall and fine dining. Very accommodating staff and had an adequate breakfast option
Cons: As with any older hotel, upgrades are needed, but it was clean, quiet and very nice.
Location: Close to the shopping centre, home of excellent fine dining in the lower level at LIVE, and close to the Summer Games events
Very happy with this hotel. A bit older but very well kept and conveniently located to suit our needs. A meal at LIVE is a must located in the lower level of the hotel. Thanks for the wonderful experience

Incorrect DatePosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Girl at front desk was very accommodating to help us get a room.
Cons: Free breakfast did not have many choices.
Location: Went north to oil sands facilities. Very impressive scope of work.
My wife and I showed up at the hotel on June 13 (Saturday) for the ESKS/ Riders football game in Ft Mac. When we checked in we found out our reservation was actually July 11 (Saturday). Not sure how while searching for a room on June 11 on the website, that we had a July date for the stay? We paid full price for the room in June and was not up in Ft Mac to use the date in July, also reservation was type we could not cancel or change. so this turned out to be a real costly weekend. Not sure I will go on line to reserve a room again.

Business TripPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location to my point of interest.
Cons: Make sure that the "Live" bar & grill is actually open before recommending to guests! The Keg option was too expensive.
Location: Fort McMurray surrounds not exactly Vegas and I was busy with my reason for being there so can't comment.
Registration, check in etc smooth. Staff courteous and helpful.

False advertisingPosted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
I stayed here as was under the impression since they say breakfast included when it was not. I was told to go to a restaurant outside of hotel to get breakfast, I would not stay there again.

Hello Debra, I am sorry about the possible misunderstanding, we do have 3 on site restaurants, however at times they do adjust their hours of operation, due to business level or staffing issues, which is out of our direct control. If on your next stay you require anything please let me or the front desk know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Sincerely, Mike GM
