What a view

Pros: view!
Cons: they were doing construction, so of course - finish....
Perfect place to relax and take in the fresh air. Nice size private balcony, Tucked away just enough to hear the surroundings, but not be affronted by the nightlife.

Do the stingray shuffle, I got stung. Lifeguard was very helpful.

We had a nice. view of the gulf. the staff was very friendly. Overall it was a nice stay.

Anniversary Visit

We always enjoy staying at the Diamondhead when we come to Ft Meyers. Even with the storms just three weeks before the staff had the entire facility up and running. They are building a new lobby area and was the only minor inconvenience. Will always stay at this facility, very clean and a great location to everything that makes Ft Meyers a great place to vacation

Fantastic Hotel to Beach - Suites w Kitchenettes

Pros: Suites w Kitchenettes - Screened balconies - Right on the ocean - Easy walking distance to the pier-area bars and restaurants
Cons: Nada
Location: Ft Myers Beach is somewhat unique in FL. Restaurants and Bars are able to have allowable true 'beach bars' on the sand.
Great experience overall. Hotel seemed untouched by the hurricane (screens even still on the awesome balconies they have there). We had 15 people in 6 rooms for my wife's 50th B-day. Everyone enjoyed their stay tremendously. Just wish the lower level beach bar was open a bit later than 8-9pm.

Short but sweet

Arrived Tuesday the 5th to start our week. Unfortunately, hurricane Irma had other plans. The room was great and bed was comfortable. Hotel very clean. Great staff and outdoor restaurant. They were understanding when we cancelled the rest of our stay the next day and started driving North to avoid the storm. Expedia refunded the balance of the room and car rental package, no problem.

When we first arrived, John, the Bellman was fantastic in directing us to the lobby and later taking our bags up to the room. Nathan at the front desk couldn't have been more pleasant and kind to us, also giving us good directions and info about the resort. After getting unpacked, we then ventured to the Tiki bar and encountered Jesse, who was fantastic. The drinks and food were excellent also and had a good time meeting other people. That evening we dined at Clhoe's and the food again was fantastic. Although there was some remodeling going on, it was not any inconvenience at all. We also enjoyed the pool and beach. Great experience. As a side note, if you can remember the names of the people that you encountered, then it was definitely a great experience.

Vacation for a week. Overall, a very nice place. The front desk didn't have information on local seafood restaurants, and one day we were missed by housekeeping, but we survived.

Great beach front hotel
