Could have been better

Posted Apr 2, 2016
Pros: Room layout exactly what I wanted, beds were comfortable.
Cons: Room cleaning, room amenities, maintenance, knowledgeable staff.
Location: Centrally located to easy access to other municipalities in the area, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Fort Myers beaches
Picked this hotel because it was the only one with two separate bedrooms in the same suite. The layoout was exactly what we were looking for and worked well. Beds appeared clean. Found one lamp with no bulb, asked staff to supply one, never happened. Continental breakfast was supposed to be complimentary, there was none. Rooms had coffeemakers, there was no coffee for them. No soap for washing dishes, had to wash with hot water. Dishwasher didn't work, and there was no powder or soap for that. There was no working WIFI in hotel, and they didn't know what the problem was.Staff didn't clean room for the four days we were there. We had to ask for change of towels and toilet paper. Hallway rugs were stained and worn through in spots. What could have been a good stay, was dampened a little bit. Looking for money back.

Good Evening Earl~ Thank You for staying at the Allure Suites. This Hotel prides itself on the 'Suite' layout in ALL the rooms...which includes a Full Kitchen in both the One and Two Bedroom Suites thus for not offering Continental Breakfast. Management was not made aware during Your Stay of the need for coffee/dish soap/non-working dishwasher and would have rectified these issues if had known ASAP or would have given the option of another available Suite. Thank You for returning the 'Router' that was used in Your Suite during the Stay (minus the last hours during the evening prior to your departure). Housekeeping is available upon request along with towels/toilet paper readily available anytime - 24/7. We do hope You consider staying at the Allure Suites again in the Future and You will be given VIP Treatment.

We do apologize for the inconvenience as we are going through renovations. I do realize that that is no excuse for the way you feel. We appreciate the feedback and will be fixing this.

For the price one could do a lot better I think. We had a double room and there was barely enough room to get around the beds. The room was clean. There is also a lack of parking we had to park 1.5 blocks away in a parking garage for 13 dollars, this should be disclosed before booking in my opinion.

We apologize for the inconvenience you have found while staying with us and that you were not satisfied with the accommodations given to you. Each room in our hotel is a Suite styled rooms, which entails plenty of room space, We specialize in extended stays so none of our rooms are considered small with the exception of only one double bed room we use for one night stay guest. We are not quite certain how the issue of not enough parking occurred seeing how we have a parking lot that doubles around our facility. Unfortunately if we are completely booked we can't do much about the fullness of the parking lot we hope you consider visiting us after the renovations to the building and find your stay to be much more enjoyable.

Undergoing refurbishing, staff training needed

Posted May 2, 2015
This former Mainstay property is undergoing major renovation which had we known before booking we'd have thought the price a little high for quality delivered. Bare chested & tatted guys milling around at and near the front desk (may have been construction crew), do not make for a hospitality - oriented visual in a hotel lobby. Smokers hanging out by the front door also was not a desirable, hotel - friendly optic, particularly for guests with allergies. On the positive side, there was very little noise transmitted to our room given that construction activity was evident, though the dust scent could sometimes be detected in the elevator or passageways. This facility could have potential once renovation is complete and staff has had some upgraded hospitality training.

On behalf of Allure Suites i would like to apologize for all the unsuitableness you have dealt with while staying with us. We would like to announce that our hotel is currently going under the beginning stages of a majorly impressive renovation project. Horrible experience ever!

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Not good on any count
We could not find the hotel since there was no name or address on the building! Staff talked behind your back in Spanish when we asked for something! Breakfast buffet was a total joke..they ran out of coffee cups and had to go to Publix for more. Milk and juice were in plastic gallon bottles sitting in a large sink with some ice in it!! The pool was a disaster and there were 5 chaises which were all broken! When we walked into the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit there was a dehumidifier in the kitchen and the bedrooms too! For four people there were 2 cups, 2 bowls, need I go one with the kitchen!! The upholstered furniture was filthy with stains. The fitness room contained all broken equipment except one piece. I had originally reserved a room for 8 nights but after the first night none of us could take it any more! I called to find another hotel and after two hours on the phone did so. We ended up staying 2 nights and were refunded the other 6 nights. We moved to the new hotel as soon as we could. They need to tear that place down and start from the ground up! I definitely would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

Very disappointed

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: The girl at the front desk was the only thing that kept us from leaving.
No sign outside identifying the hotel. The floor at the front desk was buckled and roped off with caution tape the entire 4 days we were there. One of the 2 elevators didn't work. The refrigerator in the room didn't work (the freezer did). The wall paper in the hallways was coming off of the walls and the carpets were filthy. We asked for fresh towels on 2 separate occasions and was told in order to get new towels I had to bring the old towels to the front desk. (Some service) Last but not least, the "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee, mini doughnuts and slices of old bread for toast. Our first morning there they were out of coffee cups and had sent someone to the store for more. Obviously we won't be back.

We understand our standards are a bit out of date and we are currently taking all the necessary steps to bring our hotel to the highest standards possible for our guests accommodations. There are certain situations beyond our control that we try to make as suitable for the guest as possible. I'm sorry the proper "caution" sign was an eye sore for you but for our guests safety we must take the proper precautions needed to prevent accidents. We do provide a complimentary breakfast too all of our guest as a luxury, unfortunately in order to bring the most exceptional food to our guest we would have to charge for breakfast and that is not something we would like to do we strive to make all your amenities as affordable or accessible as they can be. We hope you understand the goals we have for Allure Suites and hope you consider staying with us in the future and see our amazing transformation.

A nice stay

Cons: They need to put out a sign with their name on it.
Not a bad place, room was clean, staff were friendly, and continental breakfast was ok. I will go back next time I'm in Ft. Myers
