Upon checking in I discovered the hotel is still very much un-repaired from the hurricane. The bottom half of all walls on the first floor appears to be just plastic sheets. The hallways upstairs are very warm and smell strongly of urine. I was told by the girl checking me in that I could have a 1pm checkout. At 10:30 I discovered that was not true. The “general manager” at the front desk seemed to have no clue which of her staff members worked the night before that would have told me I could check out at 1pm. She “graciously” gave me a whole 30 minutes to get out, an hour and a half shy of what I was told the night before. Despite being a rewards member with them she would not allow me any later of a checkout than 30 minutes, again, despite what her employee told me the night before.
Save your money, stay somewhere that has decent customer service and is worth even the “discounted” rate per night.
