The pond apple trail was alive with birds today. Mr. Anhinga put on quite the photographic show. They are just so beautiful when they are drying their wings. Pond Apple was not a disappointment today. Mother gator and 5 little babies. Oh they are just so cute and very vulnerable to predators at this stage of their life. Stork catching fish was a delight to see. As we watched, he just fished away without a concern for the people watching. Head goes in first and then the feet start pushing the fish into his mouth.
