The refrigerator wasn’t working so well. It had to be set high to keep cold which caused our drinks to freeze. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay. Breakfast was great.

The hotel itself was very good, clean and well appointed, “BUT” there is no front desk person present. In the afternoon the water was turned off-without notice! Then that evening we went to take showers—the water was back on but NO HOT WATER, (of course no notice on that either!) We called the front desk phone # we had- NO ANSWER at front desk. My husband went down to front desk- no help there either from anyone, ans no one was there. Ended up going to bed and FINALLY the water was hot in am. We (as well as several other guests) were not pleased-to say the least! If they are not going to have someone present at the front desk, then there at least should be a phone number to contact that actually answers! What happens in a “real emergency” situation? Would never stay here again, even tho the hotel appears fairly new and is very nice.

Stayed in a suite, was checked in to a room and the housekeeper was still cleaning. There were no utensils, there was no paper towels in the kitchen area. The glasses were mismatched, it was okay I went and bought all the amenities I required. Breakfast bar was typical continental breakfast, I passed on it and bought what I needed.

The wait online for a virtual check in was annoying. I would have preferred to complete on my phone. The fact that there is no one at the front desk to ask a question is not good. For example we booked a room for 3 and only had 2 bath towels available and no one to ask for additional

The lady that takes care of the breakfast I would rate her super (5) five star she was great, very helpful she made sure that all guests had their breakfast in a clean environment.Her smile and helpful manner light up the room. She never stop moving making sure everyone enjoyed their stay. Great lady.

We never actually stayed in our room. Our flight from Grand Rapids was delayed several hours, once we found out about this, I called Days Inn to cancel our room and they said I had to cancel it through Expedia. I tried calling Expedia several times and never got through to a person. So instead of arriving near midnight, our flight didn’t get to RSW until 3:45 am. We decided to just use the hotel to sleep for a couple hours, so we drove to the hotel. We spoke to the “video assistant” and he told us that he did not see our name and maybe we were at the wrong hotel. So I read him my confirmation number and he said that Expedia canceled our room and I would need to talk to Expedia. By this time we were just exhausted from our trip and we went elsewhere. My guess is that the hotel assistant answered my earlier phone call, knew that I wanted to possibly cancel the room and went ahead and double booked it. I have used expedia for all of my travels over 20 years and I have never had anything like this happen. I am very disappointed and sincerely hope that we will not be charged for the night at Days Inn.

There is not a front desk clerk - zero safety - someone grabs you - forget about it! Scary - don’t stay here unless you are looking for a place to crash for 4 hours

Works in a pinch because hotels are crazy priced these days. But even what they charge for this run down hotel is crazy! Plus a $200 deposit you get back street you check out. No front desk, you use a kiosk and a guy on a computer. No real people. Sad!

We booked a 1 bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen to sleep 3. (2 queens and a pull out) Property was clean and even though it is a virtual check in at a kiosk, Check in was fairly smooth. The pool was lovely. The in-room phones did not work and made it difficult to get ahold of staff since no one is at front desk. Our suite was missing linens and pillows for the pull-out bed. Staff did drop off the linens but the pull out mattress was so worn out there were stuffing and springs popping out and it couldn’t be used for our third person. Kitchen was also not equipped with anything, despite being noted as a “fully equipped kitchen”. We were not able to cook anything as there were no utensils and cookware was limited. Overall the stay was fine but after paying $430 / night for the suite we wish it would have been as described.

Convienent location. Stayed for 8 nights so could have mixed up the breakfasts with different options different days. Would have been easier / nice to have a front desk staff on site.

Check in was at a kiosk. Man was on the screen. I had a husband in the car needing a walker and wheelchair to get out and into hotel. I kept asking for help and a person to come to front desk. I was told housekeeping was coming. After a few minutes a man came and asked what i needed. I said i needed help with a wheelchair and he said he couldn't do that. A nice couple in the lobby heard and immediately said they were happy to help a woman did finally come to the front desk. Never had an experience with no one being at front desk for check in. Now i know why i have not stayed at a Days Inn in a long time and will not again.
