Needed a hotel with shuttle service to the airport. They provided 24 hour service. It was prompt and efficient

Airport hotel

The employee we worked with at check in was the only "kind" & enthusiastic employee we met! Unfortunately the person working front desk on Saturday displayed no customer service skills. The restaurant breakfast staff (with the exception of the woman who acted as our table attendant) followed suite of the front desk person's lack of customer service! Not to mention the food was Horrible!!...especially dinner! As well - during dinner live "entertainment" was provided & was unnecessarily LOUD for the fact that we were the only table in the restaurant and we were thoughtlessly seated at a table right next to this entertainments 'set up'! There were flakes of detergent on the bed sheets and the room windows did not open - my family prefers fresh air when we sleep. And the hotel was poorly designed because the stairs were only accessable from the outside of the building and the elevators were terribly slow! I would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel... Shower needs a little bleach attention, but not terrible. Location of plugs not convenient for phone charging. Overall, I will stay again each time I am in Fort Myers.

Decent hotel but for the money their are better

Location: Good location and close to the college,shopping and restaurants
Average room and it was clean. We went to the restaurant downstairs for the free pasta and ordered one of the free appetizers. The pasta tasted free and the chips and dips were terrible. In the morning I called down to the front desk and asked if there was a complimentary breakfast and they said yes and asked my room number when I told them they said since I booked through Expedia I would have to pay for the continental breakfast. How do you offer free breakfast but not for everyone in the hotel regardless of who you booked your trip through.

Dear traveler, we do offer rates that include breakfast and also certain groups that book will include breakfast their rate, but in general, our breakfast is not complimentary. Many people get us confused with Holiday Inn Express because they do have a complimentary breakfast. We hope you were able to enjoy your breakfast and hope to see you again in the future.

Was a little dissapointed when my husband booked a Holiday Inn but it was the only hotel available being it was parents weekend at FGCU. Let me tell you, it was just as nice (I would even go as far to say) nicer than than the Hilton Garden Inn we stayed at (located just up the street)a few months ago. One thing though... you have to pay for breakfast but I believe you also do at the Hilton Garden Inn. Since my husband and I like to get up for breakfast and let the teenagers sleep, It's nice to be able to have something to eat quick and FREE in the morning! No free breakfast so that's the only reason why I wouldn't stay again cause the cost of the room was comparable to the Homewood Suites next who offers a really nice FREE breakfast! Get onboard Holiday Inn!!

Pros: Nice room and pool.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Close to beaches. Easy access to airport.
Room had view of pool and took advantage of the pool too.

Location: Bass Pro shops, Movies, and dining
Great Holiday Inn, lots of great restaurant and entertainment around. Great for business travel.

Horrible Service

Sending letter to manager always good service this time extremely poor 3 nights stay & 3 different rooms! 1) no hot water 2) fire alarm evacuation 3) water leak in ceiling of bathroom from above! Pretty poor attitude! No one was apologetic, no compensation given!
