Room was very spacious, clean and new. Everything was well stocked for the bathroom and kitchen needs. Staff was very nice and attentive. The beach was beautiful as always. Know before booking there is no pool. There is one washer and dryer on the grounds for the guest to use without charge. Overall the stay was excellent.

This place is truly heaven on earth! The staff should give a masterclass on how customer service should be! Carport for your vehicle!! If you want to be up to your ankles in shells (literally), this is the place for you! Worth the extra money! Would give this place 100 stars if I could❤️

I think the Inn should forewarn customers of the lack of elevators. I did fine, but not everyone would be able to handle the stairs.

Love how quiet and private the beach is here. Nothing flashy here. Just the beach and a decent room. Close to Jerrys grocery and Doc Fords. What more could you ask for. Staff is friendly and rooms are nice overall. Only complaints was the AC not working which we did not realize until later when we got back from dinner. Too late to really get anything done about it. The furniture in this room was little dirty. Could use a steam cleaning. We will come back because overall it is what we are looking for. Beachfront. Remember that this area has a lot of damage still unattended to from the hurricane. Keep that in mind. A lot of fenced in construction type scenery.

A piece of heaven on earth. Hurricane Ian left it’s mark, and the area is working hard to recover. Rented bikes and toured the island, amazing. Sea Shells are the stars of the show! Helpful staff, roomy, clean and beautiful apartment. Fully stocked kitchen is a plus.

The island still has a lot of construction needing to be done and areas are rundown but the Island Inn was wonderful. The room was perfect and their hospitality was fantastic. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic little spot
Fantastic little spot. The room is more like a condo than a hotel-all with views of the beach Everything was spotless and new. Ned was comfortable. Love that there was a table and chairs on the screen patio. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely but short stay (1 night) and would love to return. Our room was clean, comfortable and in pristine condition. The little mangrove plant in our unit was a great way to seamlessly incorporate ecotourism. I think my favorite memory is sitting outside at night with nothing but the moonlight to illuminate the sea and the total quiet of the island except for the gentle sound of waves hitting the shore. The staff are very welcoming and genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Absolute gem of a vacation spot, we can’t wait to return.

The view was spectactacular, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was practical, it was very clean, and the place was exactly what we hoped for! Would definitely stay again, but would bring noseeum spray and my own pillows.

Property is in full recovery mode after almost total devastation from hurricane Ian. Limited amenities available however in spite of that was still our little pice of paradise. Staff is very friendly and helpful and working hard to restore the property back to its longtime tradition of the perfect resort.

Overall, this was a great property. Good amenities and accommodations. Disappointed to find on arrival that the restaurant and bar was not open even though the resort was full. As we were only staying for two nights, we had planned to not leave the property.

We were so pleased with the cottage we rented, it was perfect in size, close to the pool and beach, nice outside sitting area and grill. The maintenance man even pull a cord around to our area for my electric vehicle. We have been to the island many times before, but this was one of the best places we have stayed at.

Sanibel’s best Resort
Front desk very helpful. Marine biologist from National She’ll Museum helped on our shell hunt and gave us discount card for admission to the newly renovated Museum which was incredible. Excellent accommodations

Sanibel is a beautiful, tropical island. We woke to a gorgeous sunrise, steps away from the seashell beaches of the gulf side of the island, had delicious meals and ended our day watching a magnificent sunset. Our accommodations at the Sanibel Inn were perfect as was the reception we received upon arrival & throughout our stay.

Fantastic place to stay! We arrived early but no problem to let us have the room as they had finished cleaning. Beautiful room, all the things you need in a well equipped and immaculate kitchen. Brilliant beds, air-con and a view to die for of the beach. Really quiet and very safe as the beach is for residents only. Loads of beach beds, shades, canoe’s, swimming pool with showers. Didn’t use the restaurant but would imagine it will be good. Definitely will come again! A***

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Just a short few steps out to the waters edge! Wear your water shoes if you plan to go in the water, because there are so many shells on the bottom! Wonderful experience. Loved it.

Easy to enjoy beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Had kayaks and paddleboards for rent right on property. The restaurant is excellent with good entertainment. Very friendly and helpful staff.
