Beds were terrible with squeaking springs. Lumpy

The hotel was in need of many repairs and the front desk appeared to be under construction. The toilet in the room was clogged. The whole place was very shabby and poorly maintained.

Wonderful stay!

Everything was great! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice shower, free breakfast foods in the lobby, good price, good location! Would stay again!

Under Construction

The hotel was pretty pricy for the condition it was in. Almost everything was under construction. The room was dingy and smelly. I definitely would not stay here again. It was pretty nasty but the hotel staff was nice.

Terrible !

First time that I arrived at a hotel where the lobby was a construction zone . Nobody there to greet the guess , no sign “ sorry for the inconvenience “. I felt I arrived to the wrong address . Since my son had a soccer game closed by , drove for 3.5 hours and we didn’t know the area I stayed . The staff was nice but for me the first impression is very important. For the quality and condition of the hotel the rate of $160 plus Taxes per night was super overrated. No sure what happened but late night it was loud outside my room. I didn’t feel safe . I’m glad I only did one night , I don’t think I couldn’t stay longer than that. Never again !

Under Renovation

Motel mostly vacant because being renovated. Old and tired property. Individual room assigned fine but mostly empty rooms in wing and nearby stairs roped off. Lobby closed. La Quinta should remove flag until restored.

Renovating the whole motel

Cons: May wait until renovation is complete - only a few units available at the time we stayed
Location: Diner next door - good food and handy to not have to drive somewhere for supper
They are totally renovating the place. We stayed in one of the units that have been done over. Spacious. clean and modern = would recommend the place based on price per night

We were taken aback with the overall experience

Pros: Nothing really, just a stopover until you get back on the road.
Cons: So Much!
Location: Near a local airport, easy access, local restaurant next door.
We checked in smoothly, went to the room and had to return to the front to ask for deodorizer. The ice machines were broken(by Irma-3 months ago), no provisions to supply ice. Refer was working fine, small microwave worked well. The room had broken outlets so we had minimal lights. The smell was bad-smoking in non smoking room? The moldy smell wouldn't go away, the pool was closed for repairs. The breakfast was unavailable due to construction and a lot of rooms are closed awaiting remodel. We had a horrible stay and suggest they get the repairs done before opening again.

Building needs repair

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: realize some things unavailable due to hurricane however, the building needs repairing
Location: close to airport
the shower area was very small. About 2 feet between tub and door. No safety handles to help get in and out of tub. No elevator. Had to haul suitcase up and down rusted outside stair well. Disappointed.

Avoid this Hotel

Pros: nothing
TV did not work. When I picked up the phone to call, not dial tone. It smelled like mildew. I check out immediately.
