A superb weekend get away or stay for a week!

Posted Apr 4, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: None
Location: Beach &park within walking distance, great food north & south without beach traffic. Rent a pontoon and explore the waters.
Our 3 room for 9 people were great. The desk staff and servers & bartender at Flippers could not have been better.

Very nice suites. Beautiful view of the bay. Not exactly on a beach. Have to drive to nearby beaches which are closeby.

Nice resort, beautiful waterfront room

Posted Feb 3, 2017
Pros: being able to wake up every morning looking out into the bay and watching the activity on the water. Also watching the dolphins swimming in the bay
Cons: The internet connection was problematic.
Location: Nice quiet area, great shopping, state park nearby, restaurant on the premises of the resort
Nice resort, pool area great, staff very friendly, nice small apartment size room, balcony great with a waterfront view.

Very nice hotel, but it's not on the beach

Posted Jan 14, 2017
Pros: The excellent staff, the clean and warm pool, the room and property is very well maintained.
Cons: The owners and management have a beautiful property, I am certain they will continue to maintain this property in excellent condition.
Location: The closest beach is across a busy highway, a short drive brings you to the main Ft. Myers Beach near town, plenty of restaurants, amenities, etc.
The hotel is well run, super clean, the staff is very, very accommodating. Unfortunately because the beach is not close my wife was not be able to walk to the beach. You MUST eat at the Tuscan Bistro, very good Italian food. Also Skye's Restaurant for breakfast is a must. The reviews lead us to believe the hotel was on or very close to the beach, it's not. Hotel pool is heated and very, very clean.

Nice hotel with gorgeous view

We stayed at the Lover's Key Resort in December 2016. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They are currently updating many of the areas of the hotel. We stayed in the 5th floor and the view was breathtaking! We also loved the on-site restaurant Flippers.
