I stayed in the beachy bargin room, it was small but the bed and pillows were very comfy. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The hotel is close to everything, beach, restaurants, bars, stores, bike rental, everything!

Pros: Location!
Cons: Updates... better lighting in the rooms
Room was ok, nothing special. There was no full length mirror in the room. No counter space in bathroom. Office staff was helpful. Would consider staying here, would check on availability of upgraded room!

Noisy from 7:30 am to 1 am

It is Ocean front view, but there is a parking lot first then the beach. Noisy at all times as everyone gathers on the parking lot to party then the city tractors start sweeping the sand at 7:30 am then they start again around 11pm every day. Poor interior conditions in the room. Needs updating. No housekeeping while staying there unless you pay $70.00 per day to clean the entire room. Rate per night $309 including tax! and no housekeeping???

Location, location, location

I just returned from another enjoyable stay at the Pierview. The best things about the hotel are the cleanliness/comfort of the rooms, the reasonable price, and the LOCATION. The hotel is a stone's throw to Times Square and the pier. You can park your car in the lot and walk to tons of bars, restaurants and shops. There is a 7-Eleven nearby which was extremely convenient. Right next door is the Salty Crab which has a decent happy hour, good food, and a lively crowd. It was also fun to walk to the Lani Kai which has something going on at all hours of the day. I highly recommend the hotel. Some of the rooms are a little small but you won't spend much time there anyway.

Excellent hotel

Hotel righr on the beach food all around the hotel,,, beach bars all over,,, not five stars but I definitely would come back

Perfect location

Walls in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING...the ac turned off and on over and over and was incredibly loud...the bed sheets and pillows felt as if they were made out of paper.

Musty/moldy room

Musty/moldy room that felt damp. The walls were so thin we could hear the adjoining room's tv and guests arguing. The room was tiny and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This room cost my husband and I almost $200, but is what I would expect from a cheap motel. There is a lot of construction in the area and we were woke up at 6:30 am because of noise.

Nice motel close to the beach

Pros: The beach.
Cons: Expedia should remove this room choice from their selection for couples. It would be suitable for 1 student on Spring Break.
Location: Lots to do nearby, restaurants, beach, shops.
I was extremely disappointed with our room. When booked I was told it would have a queen size bed - it did not. The room itself was extremely small, with a double bed with enough room to walk around it. It had 1 plastic fold up chair to sit on. The bathroom was extremely small as well. I was very disappointed that EXPEDIA would offer such a room.
