We had many roaches in the room and it looks like some maintenance was started and never completed.

Cons: Management and policies
We were not allowed to check in because I live locally. The room was for my son who was visiting and was not able to stay at our home. He was under 21 and they would not rent to us. If I was charged for this hotel, please refund my payment

It wasn't a bad hotel though did spot some bugs in room

Relaxation Mode

Pros: Was very clean and quiet, good breakfast offered early morning.
Location: Went to the movies, shopping restaurants, all was very near to enjoy.
Went to have a few hours to relax from all the stress at work and in the home environment friend and I had a great time just enjoying peace and quiet offered by the hotel and the city.

Desk service was unacceptable. When fowl language is used to a guest trying to straighten out a miscommunication between desk clerks after returning late in the evening .

Close to beach

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Cleanliness and needs updated. The bed sheets were dirty.
Location: Beaches and shopping.
Spent three nights here. Close to Fort Myers and Sanibel Island.

Save your money

The room was smelly and noisy. There was a dehumidifier I had to unplug nightly so I could sleep. A/C nice and cold however, I had to shut it at night because that was noisy too. The rugs were damp and uncleaned. The TV needed replacing as well. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel. And btw...I saw 2 roaches, one in the elevator and one in the bathroom!

The stay was awful the hotel was dirty and smelled musty. I left my blue tooth headset that cost 60 to 70 dollars in the room and magically no one found it when i called about it that evening they were rude and hung up on me. I will never stay at a motel 8 again. Thank you, Kathy Frazier
