Nice hotel close to my family

Our stay was fine, we had 2 rooms, one room would be checked out of that morning but the second room would be for another night. That is hiw it was booked and that is how it was explained that night at check in and that morning when leaving for an interview. I was horrified when i was finally able to turn my phone on and saw a text message from the sitter stating that she and the kids had been kicked out of the room. They waited for about 3 hours un the lobby. SO NOT COOL. When i spoke with the staff she said she knew nothing about that and she had been there all morning, so i explained to her what the person looked like that i had spoken to and to my amazement the staff that i was speaking with at that moment and that morning was the same person, now she remembers that conversation but now they were kicked out because i booked the rooms on expedia. I asked that morning if she needed my credit card info she said no, we would handle everything at check out. When I asked her about her eyelashes she made a comment about crying all morning, so therefore that let me know that they attention was somewhere else and not on her job.

Wanted to give good rating..

Pros: Everything but the faulty AC in room 311 and the night and day clerks
Cons: Customer service and things that are not working properly, be fixed..
Location: We were only passing thru on a road trip
I was very pleased with our room at first. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. Within 30 minutes as we were ready to go to bed, the AC would totally cut off. The fan did not stay on. It continued to cut off all night and then after 20 minutes it would come on again and then shut off. We called the night desk clerk at 3am and he had no idea what to do. We were up all night and had asked for a 1pm checkout. The day clerk, Samantha, started banging on our door at 12:30 and trying to force it open. We were never offered another room to sleep in or a credit on our bill. Basically everything about the hotel was great except for a faulty AC in room 311 and 2 staff members that gave horrible customer service..

Hotel was quiet, clean, and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The only real negative was the pillows. They needed to be replaced.
