Money driven, no concern for customer satisfaction

Cancelation policy is in dire need of revision. The current policy is a trap and totally unforgiving.

Thank you for your comment. It is unfortunate that you used the prepaid / non-refundable discounted rate. Otherwise, there would have been no cancellation fee, especially if we received the information in a timely manner.

Pros: Taxi
Cons: Wasn't to happy with the 3pm check in but I thinks that is average these days no complaints - just a little pain in my butt
Location: Walmart, Tim Hortins, The Mall, Indoor walking track - Well everything is near everything in Fort St John
I live in Vancouver and my boyfriend live in Fort St John. Found this hotel after he fell asleep before he was suppose to pick me up at the airport and he just moved so did not know did address. I showed up in tears at 2 am not sure if I was stood up, he was hurt or just asleep and the staff every very friendly and very nice about my situation. Front desk joked around and made me feel better about my situation - Lucky he woke up and meet me at the hotel :) Last visit I booked a room with outside accuses - The day of the hotel called and asked if I needed this - I told them no so they upgrade me from a basic Queen to a King with a kitchen at no charge. Was so nice to have a little kitchen to cook so we could spend less money eating out. Now whenever I am in town and he is needing a little "get away" we book at room and its always amazing. Room is always clean, staff is always friendly and willing to help plus the breakfast and pool is a major bonus.

However, when a room is ready before 3PM, we are more than happy to accommodate our guests. We do recall speaking to you about changing your room last November and we are delighted that you moved to the another room since we didn't want you inconvenienced during our expansion. Thank you for taking the time to give us your comment. On 13Mar and 14Mar, we regularly salted and sanded / soiled the parking lot. However, the rate the snow was melting during those days it just got washed away, We called the number you gave us but there was no answer, so we left a message just to check up on your condition. We certainly hope that you are feeling better.

This was a very last minute choice and it was what we needed. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Our kids enjoyed the slide and pool. Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. We were very happy with our one night stay. 😊

Sufficient

Rooms were clean - barely stocked but sufficient. Breakfast was lacking in a major way. Facilities were nice enough. This is the perfect hotel for a roadtrip stop but don't expect above and beyond because you won't find it. But rooms were clean and comfortable.

Stayed there expecting pool. Wasn't open.

Wouldn't have stayed there if there was no pool. Could have stayed at cheaper pooless hotrl

Nice clean comfortable room very comfortable bed

Cons: There toaster oven is very slow and can get a lot of people waiting to toaste there bread or bagels
Enjoyed pool and water slide with my grandsons. The only bad thing about this is they rent out the pool for birthday party's and in my Experience 12 small kids and they're adults running around makes it a little bit busy in pool. For breakfast there toaster oven slows things down. But be better with A toaster that does toast and bagels. Because the toaster oven is very slow.

After checking the current toaster, a regular toaster takes longer but we will certainly look into what we can do short of adding another toaster. We limit our pool parties (and the number of people) during the lean hours of the pool use. However, any reported misbehavior from them, immediate action will be taken.
