We didn’t realize this hotel was under MAJOR construction. The lobby was a mess. I don’t know why I booked this, normally I always book where they offer free breakfast, at least a continental breakfast. We won’t stay here again. Who needs an extended stay in Fort Stockton?

Was not made aware on website of the construction going on with the hotel so no pool, laundry room, fitness room or continental breakfast. Also room was not clean we found several things under the beds and hair and dirt on floor in the bathroom.

Your clerk is only as good as management, sadly that here is a -0-. Clerk didnt care keys didnt work, finally made her come and manually open room, after 3rd fail. AC didnt work, roaches, OMG roaches. Gave us a hard time about parking as we had a trailer, told us to park on street behind property, which is under construction, nope. If you can get a room elsewhere i would suggest it, even if its in the next town.

Got shocked twice faulty electrical. clock wasn't plugged in shocked when I tried to plug it in. Bed lamp same thing. Hence no clock nor bed lamp. Candlewood said to contact you for refund.

Avoid this place employees are rude!!!
I booked 2 rooms. When I got there the person at the desk said I only booked 1 room , I showed her my confirmation email , she said she didn’t care . I should not book through a third party site and she was booked . After about an hour of calling around and arguing with desk person. She mysteriously found my 2nd room, but it had to be cleaned.. so an hour later the room was ready (at 1:30 am). Once we got to rooms they were very dated, and definitely not very clean. A/c was very loud and didn’t work. The next morning when checking out we asked for a copy of recite and was told “no when you book with 3rd party we are not giving you anything, we don’t like 3rd party booking.” Avoid this place and it’s rude employees! They are very overpriced for what you get . This place way 50$ a night higher than others in area. And also no breakfast.

Property is very old. A can of paint does not hide that fact. The only reason I chose this hotel was for the complete kitchen facilities. Because of Covid we are making our own meals. I needed a full size refrigerator to hold all my supplies. Would probably not stay here again.

This hotel must be given a-5-star over-all rating. The property has impeccable cleanliness and orderliness from the moment you enter the lobby to its restrooms to the hallways, elevators and to our room. All staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. The entire interior areas smell clean and slightly scented. Parking was great even with our 26-ft-truck size. This hotel could pass a 10-star rating!

Our room was clean and quiet. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain, but we didn't complain because we didn't want anyone coming into our room due to the pandemic.

Don’t Select Room Based on Photos
Misinformation regarding the separate rooms for the 2 bedroom studio: pictures on Hotels.com show it to be separate rooms with a door but in actuality there was no door to separate the spaces. We would not have booked it had we known.
