"The room was about average for the Fort Stockton market. There were two addresses listed for the property—one is the address of WallMart on Dickson. I returned to the frontage road of I10 on the west side of town and followed until Hampton’s signage came into view. Breakfast meal was typical for Hampton—good food that varies on potatoes, omelettes, and breakfast meats. Parking is typical for West Texas—large pickup trucks backed into spaces obstructing the sidewalks. Town is West Texas friendly—including law enforcement; I stopped a deputy sheriff at a car wash and gave her a Subway gift card—she was pleasantly surprised."

"Long day travelling and just needed a safe and quiet place for the night. This hotel met my needs. Staff was very friendly upon check in. After checking in I went to the room, locked the door and called it a night. Hotel was very quiet and this was definitely the lowest price I have paid for a hotel so that was fantastic and everything worked out well."
