Descent for price

Posted Jan 13, 2018
Ive been to other La Quinta hotels but this one seemed more like for truckers. I needed more towels and another blanket and they didn’t have any because houses keeping did stock them up. This cant be due the hotel being max capacity because the parking lot was empty.

Ridiculously overpriced and under cared for

Posted Jan 12, 2018
Pros: Breakfast and exit
Cons: Tear it down and start anew
Location: Dirty dusty crude oil smelly
This is an oil rig worker motel at NYC prices. Door would not lock and bathtub faucet Leaked; changed rooms and bed comforter was dingy. Breakfast was ok. Glad to get out of that town with as little mud and dirt as possible

OK, In a pinch....Only show in Town.

Posted Jan 11, 2018
Pros: Room is clean but very tired.
Cons: Paint the place. Add some outside decor.
Not much here in Fort Stockton and the quality of what you get with the asking price does not match. They know they can get it because there is nothing else around the area. No hot water in the entire hotel the time that we stayed in the hotel. They did refund partially for our stay but only after I asked.

A Warm Place on a Cold Night

Posted Jan 10, 2018
Pros: Convenient to the highway, refrigerator and microwave in room, very comfortable bed.
Cons: Very dark in the room with the curtains fully drawn. A small nightlight in the bathroom area would be helpful.
Location: Not applicable. We were just passing through.
We were returning from Phoenix to Houston on New Year's Eve, when temperatures dropped to the 20s and Hwy 10 became slick with a skim of ice, which slowed traffic considerably. We arrived much later than planned, in fact after midnight, but our room was still waiting for us despite the hotel being quite full, and the young lady at the desk checked us in quickly. We were grateful for such a warm, comfortable room following a rather stressful drive.

Nice Room But Exterior Entrance

Posted Jan 6, 2018
Fort Stockton is extremely cold in January and for the price I expected an indoor hallway. Had to walk 30 yards in 22 F weather to get breakfast. Other than that the room was clean and spacious. Nice dressing area. Thin walls— I could hear a baby crying in the adjacent room.

Pros: Queen beds
Cons: A little maintenance is needed to the rooms.
Decent hotel for a great price. The hotel is in a great location for entry to the I10, gas station and restaurants are close.

Stopping point on way to Big Bend

Posted Jan 3, 2018
I made a request prior to arrival ( 5 hours ) for extra pillows . I was told extra pillows were not available. I guess it’s first come first serve . Carpet dirty . Tried calling front desk several times to ask about breakfast , no answer . Very disappointed.

Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Used to be better. Breakfast quality declined and some personal hygiene supplies are not available any more. Staff still very friendly and competent.
