Do not go here over a holiday weekend!

We came for Christmas and the front desk staff was not friendly and also gave us information that was incorrect. We were told we would have a beautiful buffet for Christmas morning, and there was no buffet and a "free continental breakfast" which when we arrived in the middle of it, there was one banana, half a bagel, and no coffee left. The man who served us dinner that night was the only one working in the restaurant. He was very nice, but he was brought in because the staff did not show up and we were given the regular menu when it was advertised there would be a "Christmas themed dinner." We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. It should be advertised when booking that there is no staff or food over Christmas. Also there was no housekeeping Christmas Day and when I asked for it the day after they said, "you want your room cleaned?" Will not be back - the room was fine and view of the ocean was great, but the staff is seriously lacking.

Thank you for your comments. This is an unusual situation as the vast majority of our guests are very happy. We hope you will stay again in the future. The hotel is now under a complete rooms renovation which should be complete in March 2017. The impact to our guest during the process will be minimal as we place each building out during the process. We are extremely excited! Thank you and we hope to see you again soon
