Do not go here over a holiday weekend!

We came for Christmas and the front desk staff was not friendly and also gave us information that was incorrect. We were told we would have a beautiful buffet for Christmas morning, and there was no buffet and a "free continental breakfast" which when we arrived in the middle of it, there was one banana, half a bagel, and no coffee left. The man who served us dinner that night was the only one working in the restaurant. He was very nice, but he was brought in because the staff did not show up and we were given the regular menu when it was advertised there would be a "Christmas themed dinner." We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, etc. It should be advertised when booking that there is no staff or food over Christmas. Also there was no housekeeping Christmas Day and when I asked for it the day after they said, "you want your room cleaned?" Will not be back - the room was fine and view of the ocean was great, but the staff is seriously lacking.

Thank you for your comments. This is an unusual situation as the vast majority of our guests are very happy. We hope you will stay again in the future. The hotel is now under a complete rooms renovation which should be complete in March 2017. The impact to our guest during the process will be minimal as we place each building out during the process. Convienent

Cons: Lower your rates
Nice location on the beach. Rooms are showing some age with doors not sealing when the wind was blowing. Door whistled all night long. A little ovver priced for my idea for what should have been charged. No breakfest was included with your stay and was again over priced. Would I stay there again most likely no. At the rate we paid a night I expected more. We were there for Our God Daughters wedding that was the only reason we chose to stay there. Maitainance was right on top of things we needed attended to get the room secure. Safety catch on Balcony would not lock in place.

Great rates & Great View

Pros: Beautiful Views & heated pool
Cons: Hot tub was too hot.
Great rates during November. Beautiful gulf front views from the balcony. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The kids loved the heated pool.

Beautiful ocean front

Second stay here, this room was very rundown. Not the same pretty room we stayed in last year. Smelled. I cleaned everything once I got in my room, you can tell they don't allow housekeeping very much time per room. I really hope this was just a fluke becase we really like this stop between our travels to Disney.

So much potential

Pros: Loved the location on the beach; quieter than nearby options
Cons: There was A ROACH in the room and hair in the tub and the staff was indifferent. How can that be?!!!!

Comfy hotel right on the beach.

It was a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the hotel is right on the beach. Next time we woulf like to get a room right on the beach.

Horrible Property Renovations No Fair Warning

Cons: The management staff could have reached out personally but chose not to. They were well aware of our situation.
Location: Good restaurants, shopping, and attractions.
The property was under renovations and we had the luxury of having to smell wet paint while also having a wet mildew smelling room from the water hose that was leaking water right in front of our room. (see pictures) I called the front desk to report the water leak. The rep who picked up sounded more annoyed than willing to help. They sent a person from engineering within 10 minutes with a fan blower to dry the wet carpet. However, we had to leave our room because the fan blower was too noisy and annoying. Additionally, my in-laws who are senior citizens who wanted to stay in the room were also forced to leave as a result of the noisy fan. I posted my complaint on their local Facebook page and someone on their staff engaged in a dialogue with me. They urged I contact their GM. I requested that someone from their Mgmt team contact us. That never happened. The management staff failed at following up with us to resolve our situation. **** MY DISCLAIMER*** Although Expedia has a disclaimer about the property being under renovations, it is POORLY placed near the bottom of the page. As a guest going through the checkout process, you will NEVER see it as a result. (See attached screenshot for proof). As soon as I click on the yellow "RESERVE" button I'm taken to the checkout page (See attached screenshot). The checkout page does not mention the renovations taking place on the property.

The out side looks like old and cheep hotel but room inside is very comfortable. I don't have any complain.
