Beautiful beach and facilities

Pros: Well kept facilities, clean, upscale, beachfront with terrific views and beautiful beach. Beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding.
Cons: We were not able to use the phones in the room to call the front desk.
Location: All I wanted was the beach, nice pools, and good food...all were there! In town there's an abundance of shopping and family activities.
From the moment you enter the gates, you know that you are in a top notch facility. Beach is absolutely beautiful; it seems like beach chairs should be included in price and I would have liked drink service outside. I think we were a week out of season for the outside dining, but it was easy to order from inside and take it out to the nice pool and deck area to watch the sunset. Excellent staff from parking, check in/out, and wait staff at breakfast. I highly recommend the Hilton Sandestin.

Location: Loved the beautiful beaches and shopping
Our room was clean and updated. Great views and soft bed. Only draw back is you can hear our neighbors next to us. But friendly staff and lots to do. Will go back next year!!

Location: Shopping and the beach what else do you need ?
Everyone was so friendly and the grounds are beautiful right on the beach very safe feel too!

A very nice hotel

Pros: Everyone was friendly
Cons: More restaurants
Location: Not alot nearby except the village and a few shops
Very nice but not alot of places to just hang out. The poolside bar stops serving food at 4 and shut down for drinks at 7. Need more restaurants and bars.

Great hotel close to the beach!!!

Hotel amenities are great! The hotel is close to shopping outlets and restaurants. If you want relaxation, this is the place to stay!!!

nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: closeness to the beach
Cons: faster wi-fi access for hhonors members pool towels available at all times. we had to go to the concierge to pick ours. bigger TVs in room
Location: lots of restaurants, shops and activities on highway 98 which is accessible 2 miles by car from the hotel.
This was our first time visiting Destin and we made the right choice by picking this hotel. Although a bit pricey, we did enjoy our beach view hotel room with 2 double beds and a bunk bed for the kids.

Terrible Hotel Staff and Customer Service

Hotel located in a very nice area in Sandestin. Close to shopping with beach access with great pool and outdoor dining. Hotel room was large and spacious. However, the cleanliness was disgusting. After out second night, I realized the sheets had not been changed and they had just been making dirty beds. When I called down to get more sheets and bed linens it took about an hour for them to bring them to us. I had stripped the beds and put the dirty linens in the hall. At 12:30am someone finally brought what we needed, but not everything. In the meantime, I called the front desk and voiced my concern. They could have cared less and blamed it on the staff who were not fluent in English. The inside dining in the lobby was the same way the service was horrific and the staff too busy to even be kind of attentive. Last but least, they took my toothbrush and replaced it with one that looked like they had cleaned the toilets with it. Disgusting. I have contacted customer service through the website but have not heard back. Not a huge surprise. Especially after the customer service, or the lack thereof, from the hotel staff and front desk.
