Pros: We liked that it was right on the beach.
Cons: Drain in tub was very slow in draining. Cleaning staff were not easy to communicate with; didn't understand English.
This was our first time in the Destin area. Our room was nice, but tub drain didn't drain properly. Cleaning staff didn't speak English and two days didn't clean room until after 4pm. Didn't appreciate paying $25.00 Resort fee each day and then paying for beach set up which was $45.00 per day. Restaurants were a little pricey for the food they served. We went "off-season" and it was a pain having to get our own food and drinks on beach. Plus drinks were very expensive. Guess if they had been served to us, I wouldn't have had such an issue paying $20 for a pina colada and bud light each time. Had a nice view and we really liked that it was situated on the beach. Probably won't stay there again though. We had never been to Destin and thought staying at a Hilton would be a good choice. And it was an ok choice, I guess what I am saying is next trip there, we will definitely look for other places to stay.

Outdated and tackyPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Checking out.
Cons: Tear it down and build something upscale.
Location: Nice beaches. Prepare to have to rent everything despite the daily "resort fee" you will be charged. Want to sit in a chair on the beach? Pay up.
This is not a premium resort. The overall look and feel is motel-like. Despite an automatic "resort fee" you are charged, they will nickel and dime you for everything, including if you want to sit in one of their chairs on the beach. If you like endless stucco with shiny sprayed on finishes, 1970's decor and rowdy crowds loaded with tattoos, this is your "resort". If not, find another place.

I had an excellent stay, but a little pricey for this time of the year. Lots to do on Emerald Coast Parkway.

Fun time had by all!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: The facility was very clean, the rooms were comfortable and the pool area was great. It had easy beach access. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Location: The men in our group played golf daily. There were many restaurants, drug stores, outlet stores, etc. close by. Loved being across from bay wharf.
I stayed at the hotel along with other family members and friends who were there to attend my niece's destination wedding. We stayed on the resort side of the street and her reception was across the street at the conference center. Both areas were really nice and we enjoyed the bay wharf attractions too!

Perfect Hotel on the GulfPosted Sep 19, 2015
Pros: The location and the view are spectacular. The rooms were spacious and welcoming.
Location: Nearby a wide offering of restaurants, shopping and activities. Nothing is in walking distance that is not on the grounds.
Hidden among a sea of condos, the Hilton is nestled next right up to the sand and the water with an amazing view of the Gulf. The hotel features a nice bar and restaurant area inside, but its highlight is the outside pool, restaurant, bars and beach front set up.

Nice hotel, not enough "fun"Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, very comfortable beds.
Cons: NIGHT LIFE!!!
Very nice hotel. Great food, but very little "ambiance". The beach bars closed down by 7PM so you could not even sit outside and enjoy a drink. NO music at the beach bars.....come on, your at the beach:)

Great value for the moneyPosted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Amenities, proximity to the beach.
We stayed 3 nights in the last week of August and it was as close to a perfect vacation as possible. The weather was perfect. Having to take care of two toddlers and trying to relax is no easy task, but proximity to the beach made it possible!

Clean resort... excellent location... as close to the beach as you can get... clean beach... white sand... great pools... great rooms... we had the junior suite and my kids loved the bunkbeds... microwave, coffee maker and small fridge in room... excellent resort... resort is in a resort itself that is gated... the staff were very welcoming and helpful... from the guard to the front desk to the bars... to the pool... to the restaurants. a little pricey on the food and drinks $$$$$ but what do you expect from a resort food. there are great restaurants a short drive away. and of course the premium outlets nearby. 😍😍😍 we were having second thoughts of staying in this hotel at first but we were so glad we did it. my family had the time of their lives especially my kids. with wonderful memories to treasure. i will definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family. weeeeeee lllllllloooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeee iiiiiiiittttttt!!!!!!!
