Poor customer service!

Horrible! The check-in desk is not in the lobby of the property, and there was no way to know where it was before arriving at the at it. I called the phone that appeared in the reservation, and nobody could help me for two hours. I stood outside the hotel all that time making multiple calls for help to no avail. The person who finally came to open the room for me did not even have the decency to apologize for such very poor customer service. Very bad experience. I would under no circumstances recommend this hotel to anybody.

Just a room.

Location: Its a beautiful location, the beaches are some the most beautiful beaches we have been to, including the Caribbean.
We went to a marriage conference at the Hilton and we were not looking for all the bells and whistles since we would be spending all our time in a conf room. So for that reason it was good. They have nice pool but nobody used it. When you have a beautiful pool area and beach at the Hilton next to it, why would you. The room was decent, only when got there the bed sheets looked as if they were slept on. Also there were no towels in the bathroom except some in a basket under the sink. My wife called to have them bring a clean set of sheets. About forty five minutes later she had to call back and asks again. The staff person said because the room is across from the check in (which was about a half a mile away) there is no staff at the hotel on duty and it would take a while. About another 30 minutes or so we finally got the clean sheets. The sheets were definitely clean and fresh this time. The next day after the house keeping came in the bathroom had all of the towels you would expect on the racks and bed was made with fresh linen. One other area that was bothersome. The Fox TV channels which there were two, the channels had no volume. Every other channel the volume worked fine! Had the room been fresh and clean and with the fresh towels on the first day it would have changed my rating. For us the price was right for what we expected to do.

Loved it! Love the location, the scenery, and the atmosphere. Just wish that the fold out couches went worn and broken, dishwasher tracks where broken, fridge was on it last limb, and coffee filters. Got to have filters for the coffee they give you in the packages. Other then that everything els was GREAT!

Destin/miramar beach trip

Pros: Very nice 1 bedroom condo full kitchen and great patio pool and hottub
Cons: Couldn't figure out iceman er in refrigerator...didn't matter they had excellent iceman er on 1st floor
Location: Multiple golf courses resturants and great shopping....and the beach
Condos are a short walk...probably less than half mile to beach and also beach house resturant/bar...very nice pool...stayed in 1 bedroom with kitchen and really nice private patio on a 3rd floor...

Sandestin is great

Pros: Everything was clean, great security.
Cons: Room we stayed in did not have a balcony
Location: Has al the things you would expect with the added plus of al being very convenient. Grand Blvd area was great.
Enjoyed the whole stay. Nice accommodations, close to beach, great pool and liked the restaurant on the beach for a good lunch.

Disapointing

Upon arrival our room was not ready. We were given an eta and then later told that the hotel staff should not have given us one. The first room did not match what hotels.com showed us when we purchased. When ever you tried to contact hotel customer service it took forever (like 20 minutes). The customer service at this hotel was very SUB PAR. The furniture was beat up and scratched. Patio furniture was ghetto and broken. This was definitely not the luxury getaway I thought I paid for. The outside building and area is gorgeous, but you will be sadly disappointed upon opening the hotel door.
