Stay away

I got in late to check in. Their front desk closed at 10. I used the lobby (hallway) phone to call their on-call person. The line rang to who I can only guess was a guest who hung up on me. I called their national customer service toll free who reached the on call a different way. I was told they must have had a routing problem in the phone system. Get to my room and I find roaches. On the counter, in the wall...on the bed. Nasty Not sure if these rooms were supposed to have soap and shampoo, but mine didn't. Thankfully I was alone and not with my family. If you go to Destin don't think you're getting a deal paying half what other places charge. I see why it was ONLY a $110 a night.

Fort Walton beach getaway

Overall, the room was fine for a couple of days. It was clean, had a refrigerator and not too far from the beach. My only negative would be the lack of amenities: no hair dryer, iron or breakfast. Also, there was no tissue, only one small bar of soap for bathing and hand washing and one roll of toilet paper. Housekeeping did not come to clean or replenish toiletries. My son and I enjoyed the splash park not far from the hotel which showed an outdoor movie on the big screen.

Was disappointed because they said pots pans etc furnished. don't clean room and hard to get vacuum or broom to clean. Everything there you have to pay for.

Nice and very clean place.

Pros: cleanliness
Cons: check in and not having to pay for other items that are included at other hotels.
Location: fort Walton beach air force armament museum the beach 6miles away
rooms are basic with only needed items to stay a few weeks. no frills type of place. was hoping they had a chair and ottoman but only plastic desk chairs. this is not their fault but mine because they were full and the family and I need somewhere to lay our heads and I was going to sleep in the soft chair and the wife and kids have the bed. needless to say we had a rough night because we all tried to fit in one full size bed. lesson learned. LOL. overall this place is very clean and I recommend staying there.

I made reservation for non smoking room and was given smoking room. When I went to my room it was dirty and the beds were not made there was trash in the room and the bathroom had sand all over the floor inside of tub there were no towels. I went to complain and realized on my receipt the lady overcharged me for my room she took a double payment I had to wait to get my refund but they did give me 100% of my money back

If your just passing through

I booked a King bed and they didn't clean it so I had to take a double bed room instead of someone cleaning the room I paid for. There was no one in the office until after 9am it was very noisy. For just staying a night for rest it's fine it was clean and the beds were comfortable but there is no irons or coffee or anything like that there

Pros: Convenient to the beaches, and friendly staff.
Cons: Smoky smell, and add free WIFI
Location: Everything is 5-10 minutes or less depending on traffic straight ahead.
Overall very happy and will recommend, and also will revisit. Pros: Not expense, it has a full size refrigerator, stove top, and microwave. Comfortable beds, and friendly staff. About 5-10 minutes away from the beach. Cons: Room doesn't have iron and ironing board, no hair dryer, no kitchen supplies, no FREE WIFI, and a little smoky smelling in the halls and evaluators.

Rude, not much signage and direction. 1 Wifi only half worked. And they called another member of our Wedding party and told them they did not have a room even though they had an email confirmation. I would never stay here or recommend them. I demanded a refund because we had to locate other rooms in another town and they just laughed. Terrible place and very unprofessional.
