Horrible

We asked for a smoking room and there wasn't one available, so we had to take anything, first night we stayed at the hotel there were roaches crawling on the walls, so they waited 3 days to change our rooms, the staff are so rude and hotel is so dirty. I would never in my life stay at that hotel. As we are checking out the general manager was so rude and disrespectful to us.

Great for a long stay for the price

Good hotel for the price. Great staff compared to even "higher-end" hotels. Down side is that there is not free breakfast or internet. They only clean every other week, which didn't bother us; however, you have to go downstairs and grab fresh towels and toilet paper yourself when needed. Great for a super low price hotel only minutes from the beach.

Not a good place for vacationers

The room smelled like smokey lemons. The beds were horrible, not quite big enough to b fulls not small enough to be twins, and horribly uncomfortable! This isn't a normal hotel, you don't get fresh linens (unless you pay extra), they clean the rooms once a week (or you can pay extra) and the WiFi was ok, but again you must pay extra. If you need to temporarily live here its ok, but I will never use this chain for actual travel again. The kitchens are ok, but useless unless you brought your own cookware (which most don't when traveling ). The only redeeming quality was check in was easy and the manager seemed nice.

Stay away

I got in late to check in. Their front desk closed at 10. I used the lobby (hallway) phone to call their on-call person. The line rang to who I can only guess was a guest who hung up on me. I called their national customer service toll free who reached the on call a different way. I was told they must have had a routing problem in the phone system. Get to my room and I find roaches. On the counter, in the wall...on the bed. Nasty Not sure if these rooms were supposed to have soap and shampoo, but mine didn't. Thankfully I was alone and not with my family. If you go to Destin don't think you're getting a deal paying half what other places charge. I see why it was ONLY a $110 a night.
