The hotel is very old and needs lots of updates, especially on the outside. The paint is peeling and the lattice was coming apart. The towels and wash cloths were old and thin. Two of our towels had holes in them and one towel was dirty. the linens were old and dingy looking. It really needs a good facelift!

There must have been some type of power supply problem in our room. Bedside plug for USB buzzed and all the lights kept getting brighter and dimmer at various times. Hotel is also mostly used by company workers tracking in lots of dirt and smoking outside right in front of doors.

I am sorry to hear that your room had some issues. We have an assortment of guests that say with us including locals , workers, and travelers. We try our best too accommodate all who may need a room. We do try and keep up with any messes our guests may leave while entering and exiting their rooms.

Upon arrival, I found the room dirty. When I took a shower, the drain was backed up and my ankles were in water while showering. 2nd night was a mess, with all that was happening in the floor above.

The lobby of the hotel was large and very tastefully decorated in an English pub style decor including a fireplace, comfortable seating and games tables, providing an inviting place to sit and relax. Breakfast was included and consisted of juice, coffee, hot and cold cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels and toast. All that I sampled was quite good. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

We had a very nice 2 day stay at this property. The room we had was clean and the beds were comfortable. The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be repaired or replaced. Fan bearings are worn out, so the fan is extremely noisy when using the bathroom and turning on the lights. Woke my wife up more than once when using the bathroom. Also trying to figure out why the server at breakfast ran out of eggs when there was still more than 1/2 hr. before closing down? Still, I would recommend staying at this motel.

Reserve here first!
I only wish I had known about this place the first time I stayed in Auburn about three weeks ago. Extremely friendly staff, super close to all kinds of restaurants/stores. The lobby and main floor has a wooden-paneled English pub feel, and the rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained. I almost wish I was staying for several more days because it was just a very comfortable experience. If they had a pub in the lobby, I would probably make the drive just to stay for that! Breakfast was sufficient for the cost of the stay, nondescript but had something for everyone. I will be making this SureStay location my MainStay when in Auburn -

The inside entrance was appealing . That’s it! Needs updating it was old. The toilet was plugged as soon as we got there. The toilet paper dispenser was loose. The sheets were stained and top cover also. Bed sheets were not clean didn’t even want to sleep in bed disgusting ! Over all will not stay there again

A very nice surprise!
My stay was a most wonderful surprise! Starting with the outside and grounds that were very nicely kept. Walking into the hotel was like entering a British pub. Dark wood, nice seating area and very clean. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. A real joy to encounter! My room was very clean, had a fresh scent but not overwhelming. The bed was firm but very comfortable. The pillows were 1 soft and 1 firm which I appreciated...again just right for me. Breakfast area was clean and tidy. The food assortment was pretty typical, both hot and cold choices, but all fresh and tasty. And very good coffee. A nice way to start the day. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again.

Not what it used to be.
This place is not the quality Auburn Inn that we have visited for the last 20+ years. It's not as clean and the pool and porches are deteriorating. We love staying for the "old-time inn" feeling, but it's not being maintained the way it was in the past. May have to look for alternate accommodations in the future.

I loved this Inn. The people were so friendly. The Inn itself is just gorgous on the inside.I loved the porches which make you feel right at home. Very clean place. Even being on 69 you couldnt hear the traffic. I loved everything about this Inn. I will be back for sure.

We first walked in and it smelled of cigarettes. We didn’t have any towels in the room. The toilet had black mold around the bowl. It hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The tub was full of soap scum. I had to clean it myself. The hotel is right next to I-69 and an exit off ramp. Several times, we heard semi trucks applying their air brakes. I think they need to get new windows. Breakfast was ok.

The rooms was clean and adequate. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices. On the negative side the A/C didn't regulate very well so we turned it off, It was comfortable throughout the night however, so it was not an issue. Overall a good stay.

Property in a convenient location to the highway. Dining options within walking distance or a short drive. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the Victorian decorative theme in the lobby area and the rooms. Breakfast was awesome with a good selection.
