It was great for what we needed and was very close to several gas stations and restaurants.

Okay for the price.

The room was cozy and clean. Bathroom was nicely updated. Because of the location near a busy street, it wasn't the quietest place I've stayed, but I didn't have any trouble sleeping. There was a large, flat screen tv. The bed was hard, but I would stay here again.

Convenient and comfortable.

Have stayed here before, whilst en route from Ontario to Illinois. It's a convenient and comfortable stopping place on the first night out. The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate. No complaints at all! I had pre-booked and paid. On arrival all was ready, and there were no problems or issues.

Close to downtown Auburn

I would consider this property to be s 2.5 -3 star hotel. It's a dated building with updated bathrooms yet old kitchenettes from the 70's. Towels were small and very thin, so was the TP, and the breakfast buffet was limited and the eggs tasted like fake egg pellets with the consistency of grits. We were there for the ACD festival, just like everyone else and all hotels are sold out for this weekend. The hotel is set up like a motor lodge with an outside entrance to each room (no inside cooridor) which added to the friendliness as everyone was there for the festival or auction and it was nice to talk with them and spend time with other ACD enthusiasts. There were several Duesenbergs, Cords and Auburns parked in the lot and available to view and talk with the owners. I really enjoyed that part and it made up for the short comings of the hotel. I would stay again if I couldn't get into the Holiday Inn Express. McDonalds is just next door, Walmart about two blocks away, and Starbucks four doors down.
