Close to downtown Auburn

I would consider this property to be s 2.5 -3 star hotel. It's a dated building with updated bathrooms yet old kitchenettes from the 70's. Towels were small and very thin, so was the TP, and the breakfast buffet was limited and the eggs tasted like fake egg pellets with the consistency of grits. We were there for the ACD festival, just like everyone else and all hotels are sold out for this weekend. The hotel is set up like a motor lodge with an outside entrance to each room (no inside cooridor) which added to the friendliness as everyone was there for the festival or auction and it was nice to talk with them and spend time with other ACD enthusiasts. There were several Duesenbergs, Cords and Auburns parked in the lot and available to view and talk with the owners. I really enjoyed that part and it made up for the short comings of the hotel. I would stay again if I couldn't get into the Holiday Inn Express. McDonalds is just next door, Walmart about two blocks away, and Starbucks four doors down.
