All three Rooms had roaches, one room had Bullet holes in door and door had a single nail in the top lock which made me force the door open. No toiletries, No Trash cans in all 3 rooms. One room also had a hole in the floor which was covered by ductape. And no TV remotes in all 3 of my rooms. And none of them were vacuumed, had towels or wash clothes ect. I say three rooms because I got three rooms for me and my friends to spend my birthday weekend together. Horrible experience 10/10 would not recommend. Place needs to be condemned

Fridge had pool of filthy water at bottom, tub very slippery, no garbage containers, rugs were old and poorly (not?) vaccumed, one bedside table drawer had what looked like dead maggots in it, the other had black mold inside, kitchen stove burners, dirty and rusty, no soap or shampoo provided. Mirrors were not cleaned and had filthy film on them. No furniture (sofas or armchairs) in living room. Bedding, sheets and pillowcases not ironed (but clean). That was about the only plus, apart from the friendly staff.

This property is need of a renovation and serious maintenance. The room was not clean, there was trash, bugs, broken steps, etc.

Upon arriving, I was told that the breakfast that was on the website had been discontinued for months. There were police patrolling the property. The room smelled of smoke. The oven was disgusting. I was completely blown away by how terrible this place was. I received my money back and we went down the road to another Wyndham property. There, the front desk staff told me that the first property was notorious for housing locals with drug problems. Very sketchy property for sure.

It was the worst experience. We had to leave the hotel 20 minutes after arriving. There was drugs and dealers walking around. The room smelled like smoke, shower was dripping, it was extremely dirty, the bedding the couch, everything! It was extremely sketching. We even heard what might have been a gun shot. Horrible! I do not recommend. There was also blood stains on the floor. This was worse then ghetto! Holes in the walls. We were disgusted!

The property was advertised as having breakfast and being non-smoking. When I got to the desk she asked if I wanted to see the room before I checked in. Bless her heart and shame on whoever has that poor girl dealing with customers who had the same shock as I. The place only smelled like cigarettes. If I receive a refund, I can at least say they made it right, but I don’t have one yet. I’ll have to spend my time tomorrow trying to get it corrected.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. I booked two nights but as soon as I saw the room I left. Puke on the wall, stains and bed bugs on the mattress, mold in the corners and the shower.

Probably the worst hotel I've been in. Felt gross in there. Lights didn't work properly, stains all over, didn't appear to be clean. I decided to leave so I didn't even stay over night.

It was disgusting. I took photos. Bedroom 1 Dirty bottom sheet, no top sheet, comforter covered in what appeared to be cigarettte ashes. King bed, 1 pillow. No towels, soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. Dirty tub, Carpet covered in flakes I???? Bedroom 2 Blood stained pillowcase, Dirty/missing bedding.. Used feminine hygiene products under sink, no soap, dirty towels. Heater didn’t work, Filthy!

Terrible doesn’t even come close to describing this filthy place. I came for work and ordered a king suite (accessible and on the first floor) when I got there they didn’t have any??? They said o could switch rooms because the door wouldn’t open at first but why switch to another second story room? I have a weak sternum from several surgeries and had a lot to carry. A fall down 18 stairs could be detrimental. I tripped up them a few times though which was quite painful seeing that I was carrying boxes. I couldn’t take the financial hit of paying for another room so I slept in a chair I brought from home. I literally refused to touch ANYTHING I have NEVER IN MY LIFE SEEN A HOTEL SO DISGUSTING. Getting half of my money back was not enough I need a full refund

Site said there would be: cookware, drinkware, etc in kitchen; coffee pot; continental breakfast. None of those existed. First room the heat did not work and there was a hole in the floor covered with caution tape (2nd story). Second room the heat worked, but wouldn't shut off or turn down so it was about 80 degrees in there all night. Bathroom door scraped the floor to the point that it didn't want to open. The table smelled like it was cleaned with dirty bathroom mop water. Dishwasher was filthy and hubby said he thought there was a dead rat in it. Thankfully, nothing to wash since the "fully stocked" kitchen was empty, though. Will NOT ever be returning.

Reserved and paid online, showed up and they didn’t have a room for us. In hindsight, it was probably a blessing. This property was run down and I felt unsafe. The pictures online are NOT from this property. There was no breakfast offered and pets were not allowed, even though both of those were advertised online. A Plead For Management
I have stayed at many Hathornes and this by far has been my worst experience. Now don’t get me wrong the front guy was sincere, friendly, and tried to accommodate my request. So that was a plus. Now let’s get to these accommodations. First, I booked doubles since that was on the site. Well that was a lie they don’t even have double rooms. Next the Penthouse was not in condition for anyone to stay. Overall the room was not clean and my family was very uncomfortable. To the point where it left us stranded at 1am looking for somewhere to lay our heads. Back to the gentleman at the front desk there was no issues with cancelling my rooms as he understood I was not letting my family touch one thing in that room. I’m not bashing just being brutally honest, management needs to get things in condition for guest to stay and take down the false pictures on the site cause they don’t serve breakfast and the rooms are outdated, smelly, and just overall not suitable for the prices.

Should be listed as toxic site.
I asked for a room on 1st floor. Both rooms were 2nd floor. First room; cigarette butts on counter top, ashes in the sinks. Room reeked of smoke. No towels or toiletries. Bathtub upstairs was filthy. We went to get a new room. Second room; smoke detector was beeping and needed batteries replaced. We told the front desk and they did nothing about it. No towels or toiletries. No waste baskets in any room. Only 1 keycard worked out of 2. Downstairs bathroom light was so dim I needed my phone flashlight to see. The fan was so loud we couldn’t turn it on. No lamps beside any of the beds. No shower curtain in upstairs bathroom. Furnace didn’t work, it was cold in the room all night. The floors were very sticky and filthy. The kitchenette had no dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The room was listed including free breakfast, no breakfast was offered. Pool was closed. I paid in cash and needed to go back to office to get a receipt. Candy littered on the floor by downstairs bathroom. No TV remotes anywhere. Faucets were dripping all night long. The room reeked of pot. Curtains were falling off the rods and hanging half off the wall. Room listed as pet friendly, we had a service dog with us and they were notified on the registration about her. We got there and a sign said no pets. Then a sign inside said to clean up after your pet or there would be a charge. This hotel has the possibility of being a very nice place. It is not kept up. It is run down with garbage strewn everywhere.

This is not the way
This place is a skeleton of what it used to be 10-12 years ago. The grounds are completely unkept, trash in the trees, in bushes, on rails of stairs, piled up in common areas and on landings. Baby diapers, used condoms, medical waste etc litter the parking lot. When I got to my room and checked the bed it was full of black hair. I tried to use the room phone to contact the front desk but it didn’t work. Continued to look around the room and there were cigarette ashes on the floor, no trash can, no towels, and no toilet paper. I could go on but I hope you get the picture. I stayed because I’d been in the road for 3 days and brought my own pillows, blankets and bed covers.

The room stunk of cat urine, there was an automotive air freshener on the heating unit, but that freshener lost its good smell, a long time ago. There was food in refridgerator from previous guest. We were in town for a convention, so we checked in didnt get back until late, thats when we realized there were no towels, wash clothes, soap, or even waste baskets in room. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. We had to leave early for the convention, 4 am, so theres no staff at that time. The parking lot is dimly lit, and going to my truck, i was startled by 2 people coming up to me. 1 wanted a handout. The other wanted a cigarette. This is not a wyndham i had in mind, and the brand should probably audit this place to see if it meets their standards.

Beware!
The worst place you'll ever see, bar none. We left immediately after seeing the property. Literally a slum amidst a bustling community. Smoke-filled, cockroaches, sketchy, full-time and transient residents. This property should absolutely be removed from any and every booking site! Or better yet, tear it down and start new. I'll be notifying the Fort Wayne Health Department. Go anywhere else.

What to expect?
What I saw online and what I saw/experienced in person was shocking and very disappointed. I booked a suite, with the expectation of a continental breakfast and seeing other traveling guests. This property is an extended stay with local folks living in these "suites". I arrived at 11pm and felt extremely unsafe with people moving about in the dark on the property. This is not a 5 star rating. I would rate this "suite" as 0.

Run don't stay another hotel
This place is a scam. None of the pictures or descriptions are true. It's run down, dirty, scary, disgusting place. Trash everywhere on the grounds. People fixing cars and mopeds. It seemed like a apartment complex not a hotel. I was there 15 minutes before finding another hotel to stay at.
