room was nice, needs updated, courteous staff we arrived earlier than planned and they allowed us to check in early. beds were not comfortable. area was nice.

Shuttle service

Picked by Expedia, needed shuttle service from airport to hotel. Had to hire taxi at 1:00am to hotel. Hotel said no 24 hr services. Not what they told Expedia and Expedia told me.

Rude Incompetent Staff with a Run Down Hotel

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Incompetent staff that is extremely rude. I had a room that smelled really strong with cleaning agents almost invoking my asthma attack when I checked in. I went back down and asked for a different room. Finally I settled in, and the next morning breakfast was a challenge as well. The lady taking care of the breakfast area was rude, unhelpful (not the person you want to deal with first thing in the morning!) and simply didn't even stock the breakfast area properly, which bunch of us had to wait for milk forever!! Anyway, my nightmare continues even after I was done with my stay. When I got my credit card bill, they charged me for the reservation I had pre-paid already through hotel.com; and in addition they charged me another full night room rate for switching the rooms. When I called the hotel to rectify the situation the staff member was rude, disrespectful and refused to help me (Aleisha was her name and she said she was the manager). I offered to e-mail them my receipt from hotel.com that clearly shows the confirmation number and the amount I paid, and she said she can't take that and I have to call hotel.com. Ironically the problem is with the hotel charging me a room rate they should not have because my reservation and pre-payment was through hotel.com, therefore I should not be asking hotel.com for a refund. In any case, please do not stay at this hotel. There are other options in Ft. Wayne!

Hire new housekeepers

Dirty dishes in the cabinets abd drawers hair in the refrigerator and all over the shower definitely not up to the Homewood Suites standards um use to
