Good hotel, nice restaurant. Expensive breakfast that should be included as part of the room.

Thank you for your review. AS in most all full service Hotels a free breakfast is not included and allows us to keep our rates competitive. We have a very low cost breakfast buffet with several hot, cold and fresh items for only $7.95 and a real value for such a low price. We also offer a bed and breakfast rate for an additional $10 that covers the buffet for a family of 4. Please come again soon.

They had cookies at check-in which were really good. Staff was pleasant and everything was organized. Bed is really good and the restaurant was great. Hotel is older but definitely clean.

Strategically located

Pros: Decor, bed comfort,lay-out
Cons: draughtyness, bathroom drains, door lock
Location: Located with easy access to I-69 allowing access to all things Fort Wayne.
For a conference at Concordia College, the location is perfect. A few blocks, and you are there.The decor of the room was soothing and inspiring, two comfortable beds, adequate wifi (could have been faster), micro wave, mini fridge, coffee, quiet. The only draw-back was slow drains in the tub and sink. Nice place to stay!

Hotel GREAT, Roads Bad

The Hotel is a VERY nice place, however the roads in the area are currently all torn-up!! Would love to return once all of that is complete. I asked the staff to provide directions on a few occasions and was sorely disappointed - many did not know where they were located to work and the surrounding area!! I also do not like being directed when you get the indication they don't know what they are doing?? I don't want to gig this hotel for the roads and some staff so OVERALL - VERY Nice stay! Pros: The location.
Cons: Nothing that I could think of.
Location: Very close to the highway and a good place for travellers to spend the night.
This was a clean, friendly staff hotel. It was, however, a little hard to find. I would recommend this hotel for travellers as we were on our way home and the location was directly adjacent to the highway and easy to get back on it and continue our journey. We forgot an item and the hotel was right on it; they called us and arranged for the item to be couriered to us and we received it with no problems. Thank you everyone!

Slept like a baby

The front desk was very kind. They took note that there were several wedding parties in the building and put me in the quietest location of their hotel so that I would not be disturbed. The only thing that I was concerned about was returning that night after check-in staff swapped over to security. Security ran the front desk and the housekeeping. My duvet cover looked questionable so I called in and asked to have it swapped out. The security guy had no idea what a duvet was and was fumbling around trying to figure out what he was doing. He totally brought in a mattress pad with him and two sheets. He was going to put a sheet down, then the mattress pad, and top it with a sheet over a made bed. I felt like a jerk having to explain to him that’s not what I was requesting for. He later called and said they’re not using duvets anymore. Well that doesn’t make sense if it was on my bed and they’re on all the pictures of the rooms on the website. After that fiasco I did get to bed and slept very well. The bed and room was very comfortable. The staff returned to normal in the morning. Other than that slight mishap everything was pretty great!

My apologies for the problem. Our security is not trained for room cleaning and after 11 at night we do not have Housekeeping personnel available, though I am pleased he tried to address your problem. We are in the process of replacing all bedding in the Hotel and the section you were moved to will be replaced next week and is the last area with Duvets. We are moving to triple sheeting all beds for a cleaner more up to date look. I apologize for the confusion. We do thank you for your business and please come again soon.

Noisy Hotel talking in the hallway

Try to sleep but they always people talking in the whole way you can hear everything they talk I can hear people from another room talking or TV on definitely was very uncomfortable annoying impossible to rest

bad vs good

there was the noise problem on 2 occasions. Staff was great........they upgraded us and did everything they could to make up for the issues. On the last night, party next door; starting at 10.30pm, called 3 times to have them quiet the noise. The last time was 1.30am.
